I'm looking for a a long post-513 fic where Justin doesn't make it in New York and goes back to Pittsburgh.

I don't remember a lot of details to narrow it down more, except that Justin took up a job drawing a cartoon character that he hated and that he felt a bit embarrassed asking Brian for help. It's a tad angsty, but has a happy ending.

I feel this is a reasonably well-known fic, too, but I haven't read in this fandom for years and going back in the first few pages of the post-513 tag, nothing's clicking for me.

I’m looking for some good stuff to read. Since I’m not so new to the fandom (but also kinda new) I know some fics already and going through the tags doesn’t help me, because I have to read the fics to know if they’re good, you know?

So…

I’m looking for angsty fics, I love some good angsty stuff! It should be B/J centered and not too much out of character (I do not want nicknames like “Baby” or Brian saying “I love you” every second line). I have no problem with AU’s and it doesn’t matter if it’s completely AU or starts somewhere during the original show. Please no WIP!

So, who knows some very good stuff for me? :-)

Hmm… I read a lot lot lot more but I don’t remember the names of the stories!!

Hey all, I'm looking for a fic in which Justin is in New York and wants Brian to visit him for Christmas (instead of the other way around, which was the original plan, I think) because Justin's agent dropped him, thus he couldn't afford airfare. But he didn't tell Brian this, so Brian got really upset because he thought Justin was flaking out. Somehow, Justin ends up in Pittsburgh for Christmas where Brian proceeds to ignore him and then calls him a "pansy-assed faggot" or something to that nature. Finally, when Justin confesses everything, he asks, "I'm a failure. Are you happy?"

Are there any post-513 fics that are must-read or classic. They can be AU (Justin meeting the gang after the bombing). I just finished watching Season 5 again and still wished they did a Season 6.

Anyway, are there any fics out there where Brian decides he wants to be monogamous but doesn't tell Justin. Then when he springs it on him and says "I'm clean and haven't been with anyone else in 6 month," Justin's like "well, you shoulda told me bc I HAVE been with other people"?

I mean, it doesn't have to be anything close to that wording but something close to that general idea would make me happy. I swear I've read something like this but it could totally be my imagination because I remember no other details.

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for two fics, hope you guys can help me, the first one is a long fic, post 513, Justin is NY and at first he is with Brian but then stuff happens and tries a relationship with this Alex guy, hispanic, adorable, hot, blah blah... Does not work out. I've read it a million times and I'm sure I have it somewhere on my bookmarks or computer but I just can't find it.

For the second one I don't remember much, Justin returns to Pittsburgh after a few years to live with his mom, New York didn't work out as everyone thought it would. I remember liking it lots because it's a different perspective of the whole NY thing, while Justin is awesome and wins at life sometimes thing don't work out on your favor.

Both are long fics (I think) and extremely well written. Hope that helps!

Anyway I'm looking for a fic where B&J are at the loft, & Justin puts make-up on Brian, eyeliner & everything, & they end up having the hottest sex ever, on the stairs leading up to Brian's bedroom.

Hello all! I was wondering if you could help me find a particular fic. The specs are a bit fuzzy, but I believe that Justin gets fed up by Brian's behavior and leaves. Brian goes to great lengths to get him back and the fic utlimately winds down with Justin asking Brian if they can do it raw. The details of the final chapter include Brian getting his test results back and then telling Cynthia he's not to be disturbed for the weekend. There's a line about Justin having been waiting for Brian since the day they met, concerning the raw sex.

I apologize if it's a bit vague; I know tons of stories end up like this, but I've been searching for over an hour to no avail. I do know that it was on bjfic.net. I'd appreciate any help!

Hi, this is my first post here, and I hope someone can help me. I've been looking for a fic, and it's about to drive me bat-shit crazy.

It's a post 513 fic. Brian had been making trips to NY to see Justin while looking for office space for Kinnetik (Justin doesn't know about the search for office space). Justin fucks some guy named Bill, and Bill decides he wants Justin to be his twu wuv. So, when Justin is visiting the Pitts, Bill shows up to surprise him and assumes Brian is the "other man". I have the distinct memory of Brian asking Justin about "Billiam". Brian leaves and eventually opens the office in NY, and Justin never knows until Michael lets it slip about all the side trips to NY. Of course it ends happily ever after.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? If nothing else, just to know I'm not making shit up. *crosses fingers*

I'm looking for long stories where Justin, Brian, et al are as close to canon character-wise as possible.

I know we all have our own standards about what qualifies as IC and what crosses into OOC--but I think most of us can tell the difference between actual canon and fanon we happen to ascribe to. For example, stories where Michael is pure evil and involved in a plot to kill Justin are fun, but definitely not canon. And, Brian and Justin being all sappy, more than once in a blue moon, kind of stretches the bounds of canon--even if it does make a really cute story. Basically, we're talking the difference between things you could picture happening in the show if it'd been renewed or they'd gone a different direction in an early season and things you might wish for but would never ever have happened in a million years.

Two examples I can think of are Xie & Suzvoy's fics. Are there any other authors or particular stories you'd recommend in the same vein?
