This story has been bugging me for a long time and I can't find it anywhere... I've half convinced myself that I dreamt it but here goes...

The scene I remember the most clearly is Brian telling someone? Either talking to himself or the reader that 'if they decide to commit suicide the shouldn't use a gun'... 'because it's never your enemeies who find you'.

I'm sure this is from a longer story, maybe even a series. The story is set while Brian is an adult and the scenes I remember are either flashbacks or memories... But essentially Brian and the gym coach were in a realtionship and Brian was in love. The gym coach gets caught? And commits suicide, by shooting himself.
Brian is the one who finds him after, at the school in his office I believe.

So if anyone has any idea which story this is that would really help!!
I tried going the the gym coach tag and the suicide tag, but no luck.... I'm pretty sure the story/plot didn't revolve around this scene. The line about your enemeies not being the ones to find you is what really sticks out to me.

1. There are a LOT of stories of Brian opening Kinnetik in NY. The one I'm remembering - and it's only vaugue memories - is where one of the ad execs that Brian has hired somehow betrays Brian and/or Kinnetik. The only scene I recall right now is of an open floor plan office space and Brian finding out. If I recall correctly, the employee wasn't very upset when he was found out. It wasn't Ted (I know there's one like that) and I don't think it was Kip. This could possibly have been the same story where a church is used for Kinnetik, but I'm not sure of that.

2. Seems I recall, again obscurely, a story in which Kip ends up in a wheelchair and becomes a good guy. On the surface. I think it turned out that he was, once again, just being the con man.

I read both of these stories a very long time ago. Someone please help me prove to myself that I didn't just dream them up! Thanks.

I wanted to see if there were any fics where Brian has a meaningful friendship with someone that isn't a part of the family. It can be an OC or someone that is not a friend in the show.

This is probably a bit of an odd one...

There was an author website, which was the only place I ever found these fics. They were long and chaptered and I think there was one set after each season - I especially loved the post season 2. The thing I remember about them was the way they were written: they were in the past tense but at the end of every chapter there would be a present tense summary of what each character was doing at the moment, e.g. "Justin paints. Brian smokes. Michael kisses Ben." <- Not that, but along those lines.

All fics wound up B/J. The season 2 one, which I particularly wanted to re-read, had an interesting Brian-Ethan dynamic with Brian remarking something like, "So you practice in public so you can earn money at the same time."

That is literally the only thing I remember other than that the fics were brilliant. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Hello Everybody..

Im searching for a fic im sure i have it..it started right after the whole election season and Brian started to work in the port and lumber? Justin and he arranged a contract as domestic partners for safety and financial reasons..they hid it from everyone. I think that its has a sequel too..I cant remember the name and I have no idea what tag to for..Thankyou! Im going to kick myself with this one...

All I remember from this fic is that Brian and Justin find a rat in the Loft. It's not the story where Justin has a semi-pet rat/mouse at his studio and freaks out Emmett - I'm sure this rat was at the Loft and specifically came up through the toilet.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for two fics. The information is vague but I hope that you can help me. I went through the memories, but no such luck;( So here we go...

The first one is about Brian and Justin going on a road trip. Brian is writing something like "Justin and Brian fucked here" on a floor at some point. Maybe post season 3 but I don't know for sure.

In the other one Brian meets a younger man named Ty. I think Mysterious Marilyn is in there, too. In the end Mel or Lindsay dies.

The cable company is going to be cutting in and out our internet over the next couple of days cause they're putting up new wires in the neighborhood. *grumbles* So I am trying to compile some fic that I hopefully haven't read yet and put it on my kindle for when 'times get tough'.

The only stories I can think I haven't read that I'd like to read are fics like this: I'm looking for any post-513 stories written before 2007 ish. They can be one-shots or long fics. I think I've read all that I've seen posted since then. Before that, I didn't read much post-series fiction.

I'm not sure when these authors published theirs exactly, but I have read all of Xie's, Vamphile's, Severina's & Plum's fics. I'm looking for some other hidden gems that are written with the same kind of character strengths as these. Only completed series please, but any size one-shot is fine with me.

If there are any fictions written in the last 6 months that fit the description above please rec those too.

P.S. YES, I've searched the tags and have found nothing I haven't read.

Hey girls (and boys?) :-)

I’m looking for some good stuff to read. Since I’m not so new to the fandom (but also kinda new) I know some fics already and going through the tags doesn’t help me, because I have to read the fics to know if they’re good, you know?

So…

I’m looking for angsty fics, I love some good angsty stuff! It should be B/J centered and not too much out of character (I do not want nicknames like “Baby” or Brian saying “I love you” every second line). I have no problem with AU’s and it doesn’t matter if it’s completely AU or starts somewhere during the original show. Please no WIP!

So, who knows some very good stuff for me? :-)

I already read the following stories:

- Keeper Series by vamphile
- Whore in a Hoody
- A lesson in loving
- The Weirdness

Hmm… I read a lot lot lot more but I don’t remember the names of the stories!!

Hi everyone.I was watching season 3 again last night, and i was wondering if there were any stories written about Brian being broke or the immediate after effects of taking down Stockwell. I imagine it could have been very traumatic and hard for Brian to get back on his feet. I especially would love something with Justin helping him, I've checked the tags but can't find anything similar. Fingers crossed I get something!

I'm not sure if this is one fic or two.

1) What I remember is that Brian loses his job (not sure if it is Stockwell related or not) and ends up working in a warehouse with a bunch of homophobes who don't know he's gay. They find out one day when Justin brings his lunch to him and one of the other workers sees them kissing/having sex.

2) Brian runs into an old friend and follows the guy (Scott?) to his place on the outskirts of town. Whenever they hook up, they end up wrestling over who is going to top (Brian usually wins). Eventually Justin meets the guy too and even paints landscapes on the guy's property. I remember the guy dies later in the story and leaves his house to Brian and Justin, but they end up losing the house to they guy's family. There's also a scene where B/J are going through the house and find some pictures and possibly a journal about the guy's first lover/partner, something like that, and they take them when they leave so his family won't find them.

This could be one story or it could be two, I'm not sure. I don't remember the name or author, or even where I read it. I searched through the tags that seemed likely to fit, but nothing clicked.

UPDATE: Turns out what I was looking for was a series of fics by London. Thanks to darla_isabella and manueladb for the help and the link which can be found in the comments.

OK now for my request. :)
Brian and Justin are together in a house (I don’t think it’s Britain). In the fic Brian and Justin are outside (backyard) and having sex and drinking wine. Justin’s colleague (an artist? From New York, who has a crush on Justin) watching them having sex and draws/sketches it.I think this was the very first fic I read and got me addicted to reading BJ fanfic. Thanks in advance.

Hey everybody, I hope this post is allowed here...

I've been reading Easing Down Hard, by London and I'm currently in Ch. 9 but I'm really confused!!! In the story something happens to Scott (I don't really want to give away what exactly happens for those of you who haven't read it yet), but I cannot understand WHAT happened that led to him ending up...you know... by the end of the chapter!!!!!! Could someone who's read this chapter please explain to me what the heck happened!!!!! He was just fixing some wires :| ......

Also, does London have a sequel for Dancing in the Fire???? I'm not sure if I skipped something or not, but I she never told if Justin had HIV or not, she left everyone hanging!!!!!!

Edit: I guess she really did end the story by leaving it hanging like that :| .... And I found an answer for the confusing part of Ch. 9!!

Hi all! I've been searching for two fics but can't seem to find them.

1) Justin buys a sling as a surprise for Brian (possibly while shopping with Daphne), but when he's in it he starts having flashbacks to Sap's party and generally freaking out. Brian notices, insists they stop and says something like "I don't get off on rape. So who did?" and makes Justin tell him what happened.

2) This one is part of a series. One of Justin's professors, named Larson, hits on him. Justin tells Brian, who freaks out a little, asking if Justin has reported him and if he threatened Justin's grade (Justin says no to both). The next chapter is from Larson's POV and he sees Brian and Justin at Babylon; they end up having a threesome. I also remember that Larson had all these ideas about Justin, like that he had an arty boyfriend and liked foreign films, and was really surprised to see him at Babylon with Brian.

If anyone knows either one or has any ideas where I might find them, I'd really appreciate it!
