Hi there! Can anyone rec me some good B/J season 3 AUs? Specifically, ones where Justin perhaps does indeed leave Brian for Ethan, but cheats on Ethan with Brian, or gets back together with Brian in a different way than canon?

Hey girls (and boys?) :-)

I’m looking for some good stuff to read. Since I’m not so new to the fandom (but also kinda new) I know some fics already and going through the tags doesn’t help me, because I have to read the fics to know if they’re good, you know?

So…

I’m looking for angsty fics, I love some good angsty stuff! It should be B/J centered and not too much out of character (I do not want nicknames like “Baby” or Brian saying “I love you” every second line). I have no problem with AU’s and it doesn’t matter if it’s completely AU or starts somewhere during the original show. Please no WIP!

So, who knows some very good stuff for me? :-)

I already read the following stories:

- Keeper Series by vamphile
- Whore in a Hoody
- A lesson in loving
- The Weirdness

Hmm… I read a lot lot lot more but I don’t remember the names of the stories!!

I'm looking for a fic, and I know I'll kick myself when someone finds it.

It's set pretty much right after Justin leaves Brian for Ethan; the two start talking again (Brian and Justin) and slowly build up a kind of relationship through phone conversations and things - but nothing physical. Eventually Brian tells Justin that he wants them to get back together, Ethan and Justin split somewhat amicably because both agree they're more friends than anything - and Brian and Justin get back together properly.

I just finished re-reading The Mask by Sian265 and

sydneyalexis which I was delighted to see asked for in an earlier post, as I had been trying to remember then name of the dang fic.

I wanted to know if there were other fics where Brian and Justin meet and build a life outside of Pittsburgh or even in Pittsburgh, but keep it a secret from the others.

I remember that there was a fic where Brian and Justin get back together (after Justin breaks it off with Ethan) but they don't let the gang know about it.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

I think I've read all the stories by the obvious great authors and I've resorted to re-reading their fics. (that's the good thing about them, you can just read them over and over and over again :-) )

But once in a while I stumble upon less-known authors who have written some amazing stories. And that just makes my day (and if I'm lucky and there is a lot to read: my week ;-) )!

This week I read everything by

scoobygang8 and I loved every word!

So now I'm looking for author-recs. Do you know more of these less-known authors who've created amazing work? I don't need fic-titles because I just read everything the've ever written. :-)

Hi, fandom newbie here.

I just read "Subject to Change" by

themagichour and it's seriously one of the best pieces of fanfic I've ever read in any fandom. It's given me a real craving for fics where Brian and Justin break up and then try to be friends, eventually getting back together - or not, either sounds good. Can be post 5-13 or AU at any point - fics where they become friends before hooking up also welcome provided the boys are IC and there's some delicious angst :)

Longer pieces appreciated, I'd prefer completed fics.

Hey--- Id love to read finished fics where Brian and Justin are friends before they get together---- Ive read Subject To Change (found in an earlier post a few days ago), and Ive read the one where they are roommates, and the one where they are neighbors--- but id love to read something else about them being friends either after they broke up or before they get together. Hi there - I remember reading a fic a long while back about Brian and Justin getting back together after the whole Ethan Fiasco but no one really knows about because I think they keep it to themselves. I think Justin is not working at the diner either. It's slightly anti-Micheal but there was a specific scene where Brian and Michael are talking outside the diner and Micheal mentions that he wrote Justin's character out of Rage. When Brian hears this he's furious with Michael. I remember Brian taking out his cell phone and calling Justin asking why he didn't tell him and Justin said it wasn't important. (Or Michael might have asked Justin to not write Rage anymore and still didn't say anything to Brian)

I'm hoping I'm not mixing two stories up but any help is appreciated. Sorry for the subject line but that's the best I could come up with.

Hallo!

I was wondering if anybody knew if the fic "The Assassination of Brian Kinney by model James Ford" was ever finished?... I'm pretty sure that was the name of the fic, even if I don't remember the author, though... just to be sure, it was the one that has Justin meeting Sawyer (y´know, James Ford xD, the hot blond bad-ass guy from Lost) in NY. I know I got the link from here, but I wouldn't even know where to begin looking for it in the memories... 'cause I don't think it qualifies as a crossover and I don't really remember much of the story anyway. Still, I hope someone remembers it, that would really make my day as it's been driving me crazy (I swear I 'm even dreaming about it xD). Thanks!

I have spent like 5 hours on the computer looking for Violet Jones' fics. I checked on her LJ and only found Nowhere We Know. I know that after 2Lunatics website closed she said she would eventually put it up... but alast it's still not there. Does anyone have any of her fics saved or know where I can find them? Strictly Platonic friends (they eventually get back together again).

There was an instance in the fic, that I'm looking for, where Brian and Justin had these dinner dates where Justin would cook for the both of them but in a just friends sort of way. I think that Justin had a boyfriend at one point (I think, I'm not very sure about that last detail).
And they sort of slipped and started sleeping with each other again but Justin at some point said that they should stop sleeping with each other and just remain friends and Brian agreed . . . .

I also remember it having a lot of chapters.

does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

I just re-read Cross-Reference by

laciudad, and am currently working my way through the 'Best Friends' challenge on qaf_drabbles over at IJ...this has sparked my interest for certain types of fics, in which Brian and Justin are in a 'close,' platonic relationship (like the one towards the end of Cross-Reference). I'd like to read fics that deal with this type of friendship, and how it eventually leads to a more romantic relationship. Are there any similarly-themed fics out there?
