whoafangirl.livejournal.comAlright, I read this fic on lj, about a month ago or so, but forgot to bookmark it. And now I'm desperately looking for it, and since it was a very good story, I'm hoping other people have read it as well.
This is what I remember:
1. Justin lives in New York, and Brian comes to visit him. They are spending a weekend at the manor of a guy Justin met in a gallery(he bought Justin's stuff). The guy is filthy rich, by the way.
2. Justin has been to the mansion a few times before without Brian.
3. The bungalow is by the beach; Justin tells Brian that he's learning how to surf. They have sex on the beach, and they are late when everyone is called to dinner.
4. Brian mistakes the guy's partner for a butler; the partner has a Japanese name and apparently he's one of the greatest Doms in NYC(as Justin tells Brian).
5. There is an orgy at the mansion.
6. The guy flaunts that he's got a copy of a german porn film, "The Vessel" and they all head to the Tv room(?) to watch it.
7. The guy and Brian have a hear to heart, he tells Brian that even though Justin loves him and, he's very desirable so don't let him go.
8. In the end scene, Brian is smoking a ciggarette and he has to decide between his flight back to Pittsburgh and staying with Justin. Hs flight's in about 4 hours, but he goes back to bed where Justin is asleep.
I know ths info isn't a lot, but any help is appreciated. Thank you. :)

Gang Reminisces about their First Kisses

I'd love to rec her some really good fanfic, but she's requested that no one spoil her for the episodes she hasn't seen. So, please rec your S1 favorites, and if you could, indicate which epidsode/events the fanfic spoils (ex. "set after Justin runs away to NYC", or "spoilers through 107"). I'll pass them along to her with spoilers indicated by episode number.

There are many fanfics out there - epic in proportions, well-written, with great plots. But I have to admit that many of them, even those considered must reads and classics - give me a feeling of OOC-ness. There's Brian - nice and affectionate in a schmoopy way, not afraid of commitment. There's Justin - pliant and a completely damsel in distress-like, letting others abuse and manipulate him. There's evil and plotting Michael that actively tries to break Justin and Brian up... No matter that according to canon!Brian, there's nothing to break up. There's even more evil Ethan, Mel and Lindsay being such bad mothers that their children have to be taken away and even though all of those plots are fun to play with, they're not very much true to the characters from the show.
So I was thinking about compiling a list of stories and authors, that could be considered QAF purists when it comes to characterization. No matter if it's a gap-filler, or an AU story, I just need something to sooth my QAF withdrawal, something that will really feel like the show.
I trust your judgement, even though I'm aware that people can feel very differently about some stories. It doesn't matter, I still want your opinion! (After a while, I'll compile your recs into a nice list and put it in this post, under the cut).

Story Synopsis: J and B go to some rich guys party where this silent gay porn film is being shown, which I believe is called The Vessel. It's a pretty hot description, and I just have a hankering to read it again. I believe it was written before QAF went off the air.

dead!Justin -- death fic.
Apr. 21st, 2011 01:40 pmamelialourdes.livejournal.comHi everyone! We're discussing fic that makes you cry here and it reminded me of a death!fic. Checked the links and memories but it wasn't there or at least the description of it wasn't there.
In the fic, Justin dies, and the way that it's told is through a series of voice messages that Justin leaves on Brian's cell. His messages would be italicized and then Brian's dialogue isn't italicized. The messages track Justin's whereabouts throughout the day. For example, he left a message in the morning up until the evening which was his final message. I thought it was mojokitten since the journal had a kind of green background but it wasn't there.
It's not new. It's probably from 2003-2006 (and '06 is stretching it). Thanks in advance!

I'm wondering if there are any fanfic's where the gang is sleeping at the loft or one of the many houses along with Brian and Justin and their families (michael's and/or justin's) and the Justin and Brian are making love and try to be quiet about it so the gang/families don't hear them!
I know in m last post i asked about Justin and Brian being spied by the gang but in this post i was looking for Brian and Justin trying to keep quiet cause they don't want anyone to hear them make love.
