I'm looking for a story where the kids speculate about the relationship between B/J.They notice that Justin is always sleeping and try and put two and two together thinking he has HIV. I can't remember what else is in this story hopefully someone can remember it for me. I checked the HIV tags ,Justin illness and Gus hates Justin tags but couldn't find it. I remember the story had drawn pictures of the kids.

I was wondering if I could ask if anyone can recommend fics that sort of fit these scenarios.

1. Instead of deciding to go with Michael, Melanie chooses Brian as the father. Maybe they form a better friendship along the way.

2. I checked through the tags a month ago, but I would like some good friendship stories between Brian and Emmett, preferably when Brian isn't doing all that well (post 2x22 or post 5x13 or possibly something bad happens to Justin) or maybe Emmett isn't doing so well and Brian is actually the one who takes initiative to spend time with him. I have found more of Brian and Ted, but I will also take stories of them in a similar scenario as well. RECS POSTED BELOW

3. Any fics tell about Emmett's backstory? We hear snippets of Aunt Lula and getting matches thrown at him in the locker room, but I would like something to center around Emmett and his past. It can be pre-series, in-series, or post. It would be great if the rest of the gang was in it and helped him out though. Rec by gaedhal below

Also, I am a huge Brian/Justin shipper so if they are the main or side couple in any of these fics, that is completely fine. Also, hurt/comfort and angst are also wonderful (and sadistic) things.

It's been a very long time since I last read qaf fanfics and I'm trying to find my favorites without remembering anything from the plot. Please, help me to find stories there preferably both Justin and Brian are stubborn with elaborate and interesting character. A brilliant example of such story that fits perfectly is WIP TOWJWAGABI by myrna, except that I prefer finished stories.

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you know fics where brian and justin are equal when it comes to their careers?

because the majority of the fics i've read have brian being all rich and successful already and justin's either a hustler, a student, a starving artist looking for a job or just some random joe. I mean even if it's canon, they always make justin just average. you know what I mean? haha anyway, I'm just looking for fics where maybe they're both already established in their careers and they're both already well known. I guess maybe it would have to be post 513, but AU's are okay too. Whatever you guys can give me is fine.

I also read one where they were described as being a power couple? so yeah, that's it. If you can help me find this 'power couple' fic and also fics that have them on equal footing, that would be awesome.

Hi there!

I am looking for long stories with Gus as one of the main characters. It can be Gus POV stories as well. He can be a teenager or an adult (if he turns out to be gay that's a definite plus!)

I have already read the following awesome stories: "how we got where we are going" by allie-quixotic, "Healing" by Sydney Alexis, the "Karma" series by mickiebg, the story where Gus is dating Brandon and "Gus diaries". I have been looking at the tags "Gus gay or bi" and "gus teenager" and "gus adult". I am just wondering if any NEW (or old but lost) long stories have been written with Gus in them.

(I tried to find a similar post but there is no such tag. The closest thing was somebody asking if some specific fanfics are in character and this is what actually gave me the idea to file such request.)

There are many fanfics out there - epic in proportions, well-written, with great plots. But I have to admit that many of them, even those considered must reads and classics - give me a feeling of OOC-ness. There's Brian - nice and affectionate in a schmoopy way, not afraid of commitment. There's Justin - pliant and a completely damsel in distress-like, letting others abuse and manipulate him. There's evil and plotting Michael that actively tries to break Justin and Brian up... No matter that according to canon!Brian, there's nothing to break up. There's even more evil Ethan, Mel and Lindsay being such bad mothers that their children have to be taken away and even though all of those plots are fun to play with, they're not very much true to the characters from the show.

So I was thinking about compiling a list of stories and authors, that could be considered QAF purists when it comes to characterization. No matter if it's a gap-filler, or an AU story, I just need something to sooth my QAF withdrawal, something that will really feel like the show.

I trust your judgement, even though I'm aware that people can feel very differently about some stories. It doesn't matter, I still want your opinion! (After a while, I'll compile your recs into a nice list and put it in this post, under the cut).

Hi everyone!
I know that people regularly request recc's for long, well-written stories, but they're usually asking for classics and the same favourite authors and titles come up. I've read all of these again and again, and I'm craving something new ...

What I'm looking for are new(ish) multi-chaptered fics that maybe aren't often recc'd but that you think are worth the read. I'm not bothered about subject matter as long as the plot's interesting and the characters are well-drawn - AU's are fine, but please no MPREGs or death-fics. And while I love possessive, protective Brian I like him to stay canon ... no calling Justin 'baby' or suddenly being up for fathering or adopting a tribe of children. I'd also prefer complete stories or at least WIP's with regular updates.

I post my own stories at Midnight Whispers and Fanfiction, so I've read most of the recent stuff on those sites - I love Turning Points by Strongatheart and Timeless by Cynical, but maybe you know of a story posted somewhere else or a gem I might have missed. Any suggestions would be great ...
