I'm a big fan of good old QaF classics and I haven't read any QaF fics in a long time but maybe I'm missing out on something. So I was wondering if you could rec me some really good in-character stories written in the last 2 years?
Genre/wordcount doesn't matter :)

I know there's a 510 gapfiller in Missing Moments, but I vaguely recall reading one where Justin goes to the loft with Brian and they have sex as a way of comforting each other after the bombing.

I'm interested in any gapfiller after Brian says "I love you," as well as any fic that goes AU after that, series or standalone. Nothing super fluffy and/or OOC.

Specifically, I'm looking for a fic where Jennifer dies while Brian and Justin are broken up and Justin either seeks Brian's comfort or Brian seeks out Justin to offer comfort. I don't have a specific fic in mind, so this may not exist.

I'm open to fics where Jen dies while B/J are together as well, as long as there's hurt/comfort involved.

Hi guys! I just joined this community, and after scrolling through and reading some of the fics recced here, I'm super excited about it. :D

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone could help me satisfy my protective!B/J cravings? I'm particularly interested in Justin protecting Brian, which seems to be the less common trope, but I'll take it either way. I'm talking anything protective- standing up for each other, taking care of each other, fussing over each other, throwing proverbial (or literal) punches on the other's behalf.

If you can think of a fic that even remotely fits this descriptions, I'd love it if you'd let me know.

I'm looking for random stories that deal with Michael screwing up but Brian doesn't forgive him this time. I would like them Brian/Justin stories please. But other than pairing I welcome any stories, the gang can hate him or side with him, I'd prefer Ben actually leaving Michael but that's only an extra. Deb can act like a freaking idiot about the whole thing or suddenly realize Michael is a brat, Teddy can be Brian's new best friend or even Emmett, I don't care. Extra points for Michael being arrested for something or just thrown off property. I just want stories where Brian refuses to forgive Michael and moves on. I've always felt that their relationship was too enabling for both of them, plus the whole Brian has to put Michael first always is a bit weird after adulthood happens.

I was wondering if there were any B/J fics where they deal with a different mental illness other than multiple personality disorder, like Schizophrenia for example. Like Justin has it and gets kicked out of deb's house cause she doesn't understand it or him and Brian sees this and takes him home with him to the loft. He then helps Justin to deal with it and such. I don't think there are as I haven't run across any yet, but it never hurts to ask any way.

I just finished season five (had a marathon from season 1-5 actually) and I hate hate hate hate how it ended (stupid writers) but I thought to myself it would be just beautiful to read a story where Brian goes to the airport to stop Justin from leaving. Of course Justin would be very happy and come back.

minute.

Do you know any like this? Please help a end of season five depressed gal who needs a better ending.

Hello fellow QAF fic readers! I have a bit of a strange request but I'm hoping you can help!

I was a big fan of the QAF fandom "back in the day", but fell out of it for awhile and haven't really kept up with fics and the new-ish authors. I remember loving some amazing fics back in the day by authors like Allie-Quixotic, Raging Pixie, Bigboobedcanuck, Plumsuede, etc.

Obviously I can go through entries at BJfic, but I'm hoping those who have stayed more involved in the fandom over the past couple recent years can point me in the direction of some great newer fic/authors. Are there any fics that stand out to you in the last couple of years that are just absolutely WORTH THE READ that I shouldn't miss?

Hey! So I desperately need fix-it fic for s5 because the breakup just feels so incredibly out of character to me that it hurts. I've re-read all the common ones that come up in the tags (i.e. Wren's) but I really want one that doesn't just gloss over the bombing.

I want to see what it would have been like if Brian and Justin had been together during the bombing. Would Brian have stayed and gone to Babylon? Maybe one of them gets injured instead of Mikey? They both become incredible clingy afterwards? Justin's basing related ptsd is triggered?

Anything that helps me make sense of s5 would be wonderful, thanks so much!

Hi everyone! Even if I've rummaged through this wonderful community for ages, finding it absolutely enlightening, it's my first request.
I just read Be all that you can be by NoChaser for the umpteenth time, I really love this story, and I wonder if there are similar stories out there, with a very strong and/or powerful Justin, either it's their first encounter, or he returns to Pittsburgh.

Okay, I have this really embarrassing thing for mpreg. I'd always been horrified by the whole idea until some ~~evil~~ friends in my last fandom peppered me with enough really good mpreg fics that I developed an mreg habit. I'm sure there must be some in the QaF fandom too. I looked through the fics in the tags here, but they seem to feature pregnant!Justin. I only want fics with a pregnant!Brian. (*blushes* I know, I know.) I've already read the hilariously brilliant "Prego Stud" by Tagsit, but I haven't found any others.

foreverfolked, not Irish Rose, though. Sorry for trying, Rory] and some WIP too .
But I know that are some, when Brian or Justin are not pregnant because they gave birth to their kids already, that aren't under the mpreg tag . And that's what I'm looking for. And some new mpreg since the last time someone requested recs.

1. I'm looking for an interview a fan did with CowLip many years after 513. It's the one where they clarify the ending and say the Brian/Justin relationship was inspired by a song (??). I read it recently, but forgot to bookmark it. (FOUND!)

2. I've just read three awesome, epic length fics back to back where Brian takes care of Justin and now I'm in the mood for a role reversal. Any rec would be appreciated with the only caveat being that while I love, love angst, I can't stomach death fic (as in either Brian or Justin dying, I can deal with anyone else dying just fine). (A few recs in the comments.)

Hey guys, I was just wondering if you know fics where brian and justin are equal when it comes to their careers?

because the majority of the fics i've read have brian being all rich and successful already and justin's either a hustler, a student, a starving artist looking for a job or just some random joe. I mean even if it's canon, they always make justin just average. you know what I mean? haha anyway, I'm just looking for fics where maybe they're both already established in their careers and they're both already well known. I guess maybe it would have to be post 513, but AU's are okay too. Whatever you guys can give me is fine.

I also read one where they were described as being a power couple? so yeah, that's it. If you can help me find this 'power couple' fic and also fics that have them on equal footing, that would be awesome.
