queerasfray.livejournal.comOkay, I have this really embarrassing thing for mpreg. I'd always been horrified by the whole idea until some evil friends in my last fandom peppered me with enough really good mpreg fics that I developed an mreg habit. I'm sure there must be some in the QaF fandom too. I looked through the fics in the tags here, but they seem to feature pregnant!Justin. I only want fics with a pregnant!Brian. (*blushes* I know, I know.) I've already read the hilariously brilliant "Prego Stud" by Tagsit, but I haven't found any others.

'Rome' by Kristen/Kristin

There is one other story mentioned 'Rome' and I can't find it. Does anyone know where to look or got a download link?

Ghosts and the Supernatural
Sep. 28th, 2009 10:13 pmmysid.livejournal.comIt's almost October, boys and girls, and that means Halloween. What are your favorite QaF stories with supernatural elements? And no, I don't "Supernatural" the series--just your ordinary ghosts, goblins, and other things that go bump in the night.
Ghosts:
I already love Never Have, Never Will, a story in which Brian's loft is haunted by Michael's ghost.
I also loved a story in which Justin rents the loft only to meet ghost-Brian. Brian is in a coma, not dead, but I can't remember the title. (Update: It's Just Like Heaven.)
And, I know there's one in which Justin died when he was bashed and now haunts Brian. Again, I can't remember the title. (Update: It's Better Now.)
Any other ghost recs?

I know I've read a few QaF fics inspired by Brian's Irish heritage in the direction of Irish folklore. Brian Kinney and the..., for example, is a clever "Brian encounters a leprechaun" tale.
What else can you recommend?

There's a "time travel but not really" element to this story wherein Justin is having really bad dreams and somehow, with the help of, I think, a vintage bookstore owner and Mysterious Marilyn, they figure out that Justin's dreaming of his and Brian's past in England and maybe in other lifetimes, too. Brian's someone in authority and Justin's an indentured servant or something. Mikey's involved, too, in a negative way. Anyway, they have to resolve whatever was left unresolved or there will be a bad result in current time.
I don't remember exactly, but somehow the bookstore owner's past is also entwined or his lover's past, something; maybe one of their relatives turns out to be a relative of Brian or Justin. They all go to an old burial area in this one at the end of the fic to kinda lay the past to rest.
I didn't expect to enjoy this fic as it's a little AU for me, but I did. And now I'd like to read it again if anyone can help me find it.

It;s a fic where Justin is reading this book by a slave or something, and it flips back and forth between BJ in the present and BJ in the past where Brian is a pirate (i think)... basically, the whole fic is about brian and justin in the past that they are forbidden to be together and they end up on a pirate ship together and then on an island where its like "paradise" and live together there until they die. and then at the end of the fic bj in the present end up going to that island and are trying to find the place that past bj are buried.

I think it was Justin who died, and (his spirit) would occasionally talk to Brian. The fic conitnues through the years of Brian getting older, and I think he eventually dies at the end too. Thanks for your help.

3 Justin runs away from Ethan and is living on the streets and Brian finds him and takes him to the loft
