Brian and Justin both die. I've also got a fic where Justin dies at he end, if you'd like a link to it.

This has an ambiguous ending which can definitely be interpreted as Brian dying (amd is best interpretted that way IMO). I love death!fic, and this would be amongst my favourites.

I didn't think the ending was ambiguous. It tried to make you think that Brian had died, but in the end Brian comes back to Justin and they live their lives. At least, that's the way I read it.

I thought it was Justin alone with his memories. He said that was why he had wished he had Brian back to his place when they met in LA previously, because at least then he would have had the memory of his time with Brian in his home.

Thinking of it as a true death fic makes that all the more poignant. (And hence that's why I consisder the ending ambiguous, you can see it both ways)

that's an interesting reading of it, but i don't think the ending's that ambiguous.

This is a long fic, and Brian does die at the end. It's an oldie but goodie.

Below are several links. And there are two I can't remember, but maybe someone else will.

1. Brian is 60ish, Justin died in a car wreck years before. Justin's spirit visits Brian sometimes. This night is a party at Britin and Justin's ghost comes and they have a conversation. Later, Brian signs over Kinnetik to Gus and then goes for cigarettes and also dies in a car crash.

2. Justin goes to Kinnetik after the funeral, finds a letter Brian left for him that talks about their life together. Oh. YOu know, I think I've got that reversed. I think it's Justin who dies, and that's not what you were looking for, sorry. (I'd still like a link, if anyone else remembers it.)

ok, get out the big box of aloe vera tissues and enjoy. :))

Miss Miko has an epic at her website and, while it's pretty OOC in places (IMO), it's still a fun and LONG read, which I love. Her website is here: http://heelsoverhead.net/stories/stories.html

The last chapter in her fantasy seasons is the death fic: Picture Perfect (http://heelsoverhead.net/stories/pictureperfect.html)

I just got a link to one I mentioned in the comments below and it reminded me to check my links to see what I might've added over the past couple of years. If you're still interested, I have these two:
