A few fandom friends and I are compiling lists for a QAF fan Awards event and I was wondering if I could get recommendations from you all.

1. The first would be Major Character Studies. This would focus mainly on one major character in the QAF world (Ben, Brian, Justin, Debbie, Michael, Lindsay, Mel, Emmett, Ted, and Vic.) It would need to focus on their growth, personality, etc. It can take place before, during, or after the show.

2. The second is for secondary and "extra" characters. Same deal but I'm looking for stories that focus on the characters that we don't see as much of like Jennifer, Molly, Daphne, Carl (even though he takes a bigger role later on), Craig, Joan, Jack, Mysterious Marilyn, Todd, one of Brian's tricks. It doesn't matter really. Any secondary or extra character.

Hi!:) I have a lot of unread stories on my E-book which I constantly download. Today I came across one that I loved, but I don't remember where I got it and who the author is. It's like this: post-513, Justin and Brian stayed together even though Justin went to NY, they've been together for three more years. They discussed monogamy on the phone, Briad said that he hadn't slept with anyone for 2 months already. But, when Justin came to Pittsburgh, he saw Brian in an orgy and left. He met someone named Lloyd Rausch and started to live with him. Then he met Ethan again, and realized he still felt something for him. Lloyd saw them kissing. Justin started to feel torn between three of them, he returned to Pittsburgh, then left again, still trying to choose. Finally he chose Brian. Sorry for bad description - it's a great story, it caught me right away, but it ends strangely - I didn't even realize I was reading something new already at first, there were no 'the end' words, no epilogue, no anything. Maybe someone knows it and could help me find the author and the title? I have no idea why I didn't copy these things in the first place, I always do.

Also, I'm looking for some stories that are about Brian-nearly-fucked-Michael scene. I read No longer an option, Cross reference, Ethan's and Morpheus' gap-fillers, but I'd love to find more. Doesn't matter what it is, AU when Brian did fuck Michael, or could-be-canon stories where Justin finds out what nearly happened. I'm in a mood for some angst/heartbreak/making up.

(I tried to find a similar post but there is no such tag. The closest thing was somebody asking if some specific fanfics are in character and this is what actually gave me the idea to file such request.)

There are many fanfics out there - epic in proportions, well-written, with great plots. But I have to admit that many of them, even those considered must reads and classics - give me a feeling of OOC-ness. There's Brian - nice and affectionate in a schmoopy way, not afraid of commitment. There's Justin - pliant and a completely damsel in distress-like, letting others abuse and manipulate him. There's evil and plotting Michael that actively tries to break Justin and Brian up... No matter that according to canon!Brian, there's nothing to break up. There's even more evil Ethan, Mel and Lindsay being such bad mothers that their children have to be taken away and even though all of those plots are fun to play with, they're not very much true to the characters from the show.

So I was thinking about compiling a list of stories and authors, that could be considered QAF purists when it comes to characterization. No matter if it's a gap-filler, or an AU story, I just need something to sooth my QAF withdrawal, something that will really feel like the show.

I trust your judgement, even though I'm aware that people can feel very differently about some stories. It doesn't matter, I still want your opinion! (After a while, I'll compile your recs into a nice list and put it in this post, under the cut).

1. (I think this was one of the stories) Vic is dead and hangs around Brian's loft.

2. Brian and Michael are stuck in the cooler at a grocery store after the store closes.

3. Brian and Justin's grocery list "On The Fridge."

4. And a whole bunch of other stories.

Hi everyone! I have a friend who has gotten into QAF fandom without having seen the show. Meaning that she's done so pretty much completely through fic, lol. Vic is a character she still needs to learn about. Can anyone recommend good Vic fic? It doesn't have to be completely about him, but just any fic that features Vic and has a good sense of his character.

I have two completely unrelated requests.

1) I want a few GOOD Brian/Michael pre-QAF fics, preferably touching on Brian being abused by his father. I want to read about from the very beginning. I know there are quite a few of these, but what are some of your favorites? I'm mostly looking for ones that aren't alternate universe, but rather something that could have happened given the series.

2) This is more for my morbid amusement, but has anyone dared to write a QAF fic based on Twilight?

I'm in the mood to read some "Brian in high school" fics. I don't want anything AU. It could be Brian & Michael interaction, it could be Brian/gym teacher, it could be Brian getting bullied by the football team, etc. As long as it's Brian as a teenager and conceivably fits into canon, that's what I'm craving.

Anyone have suggestions?

Clarification: The story doesn't have to mention high school in any way, shape, or form. It merely has to take place during that period of Brian's life.

Update: I've gotten some recs, but I'll gladly take many more!

Hi everybody, I'm sorry to be bothering again but i can't find this fics on my own =(

1. First I wanted to know if anyone can recommend some good stories with Hunter on them, especially if he is trying to get in Brian's pants, but he just ignores him, or if he is annoying Justin or something like that.

2. Does anyone know if there's a sequel to "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" by Rizabeau? I've been looking but the only fic I could find was Bunnies and Peeps, but that's not a real sequel.

3. One last thing, can anyone recommend any stories where brian sleeps with Michael and justin finds out and gets angry. I already read "Cross-Reference" by laciudad & "Signed" by Rizabeau.

Number 2 has already been found! Also I got some great recs for numbers 1 and 3 but more are always welcome!
