I was wondering if there is any place where i can read akintay's fic. Any place where the author post themselves. I think i've read that the author doesn't want her stories shared.

Maybe info on how i can contact her myself (if she is still active) would be helpful. Thanks in advance. 😀

Update: I manage to contact the author. She deleted lj due to terms of services and have been thinking of reposting them to ao3 but wasn't sure if there's still interest in them (hopefully she will).

Hello, all.

I just read this on another livejorunal, posted from a comm I'm not a member of, a_ra_shi, that I thought might be of interest:


You might or might not have noticed, but in the past month or so many journals have been suspended without warning or notification by LJ. This appears to be because LJ implemented a new script to catch spambots, except this new script seems to potentially mark as spam any post containing links that go out of the site (to Mega, MediaFire, etc.) Once a journal has been marked as "spambot," it will be deleted without warning or notice.

Agh. I have been searching for this fic for so long. Gus is caught drunk driving and Justin scolds him but brian takes it easy. This pisses justin off so he divides the house (the left Wing maybe).
I think the name might contain the word wing but not sure. I checked b/j and gus tags. Couldn't find it. I know it's here somewhere.

Stories with absurd topics.

Dear friends of GIH, before you think I'm completely mad, I would like to clarify that I like to have fun and laugh uncontrollably with absurd topics stories (even the not so well written) because I just want to have fun reading total bullshit .

Note: I know mpreg is absurd, but there are some that are very well written, so here does not fit.

So I ask recommendations as history where Daphne has a prostate or where Brian is a killer merman (by the way, if anyone knows where to find these stories I ask the link, please).

That said, I hope that you have a number of recommendations for the present moment, I just want to laugh without worrying about any distress, painful separations or any other variable that theme.

Justin in Orphanage/Brian Teenage Mentor

Justin is young, and I think he's living in a boys' group home after losing his family in a car accident? I don't think he knows or believes they are dead and is expecting them to return. Teenaged Brian travels to the group home perhaps to work as a "mentor," as part of a religious retreat. Mikey goes with him.

I remember distinctly a scene where once arriving at the home Brian hears Justin running upstairs making a lot of noise slamming doors, etc. He loves to draw. They meet again as adults. Justin is working at a gallery??? He wears punk style clothes.

EDIT- Believe the Fic is a WIP called "Branches" by discothequey. But the account is purged. Does anyone have a copy?

One of my new friends is getting into QaF fandom and she is one rare kind as me and up till now she ships Michael/Brian and she has asked me for really good fanfics.
I used to love both [livejournal.com profile] theredwepainted and [livejournal.com profile] dontyouwaitup and I remember they were just the best writers in fandom for me but I've just checked them out and I cannot find any of the fics.

Yo dudes. It's been forever since I've posted here, wow. But, I come to you in my hour of need. I'm rewatching QaF for the millionth time, and of course after the infamous 510 episode, I had a hankering for After the Smoke Clears by allie_quixotic. But, to my great misfortune she has deleted her journal, and all the links I found through google for the fic are no longer valid. :'( Does anyone have a copy they could send me, or know a link to it or something? Thanks a bunch you guys.
