Anyone have a working link to "Choices" by Doppleganger? I went through the tags and the only link I can find takes me to an Access Denied page for LJ. I'll ask to be friended so that I can, hopefully, read this recommended story, but the last activity I can find on the story was about seven or eight years ago. I've tried wayback machine and the folder links in the side bar, but no luck. Appreciate any help I can get here.

Was going through some old posts here and ran up on the name of this fic - Another Face In the Crowd. I remember reading it a long time ago, and it was a WIP. Now, when I click on that link, the page is gone although the journal is still there. Anyone have a link or copy of the original? Was it ever finished? Wondered about this several times over the last couple of years. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I've read about 1daftpunk's fics in a few places, then recently came across one of their fics that was written for charity and I'm so hooked on their style of writing. Would love to read more of their stuff but the journal is unfortunately flocked and I'm not sure if my messages are being delivered. I'm trying to find a fic:
-Brian begins working in Justin's company.
-He seems interested in Justin.
-Justin has lots of sweets in his desk (Brian says something like "Jesus, you really like sweet!".
-In the end Justin discovers Brian was trying to bed him because of a bet with a coworker.
-Daphne is Justin's sister (he was adopted by her parents).
-I think there is a second part with Justin in a mental hospital.

Please pardon me if this is the wrong place to ask. Someone posted on MNW on facebook, that Morrbran had some great fics in her LJ account, esp. male preg. I found her journal, with list of her fics, but I'm unable to access them, states access denied. Can someone let me know if you have to request (friend) her.

Artless was an author who made a lot of fantastic contributions to the QAF fandom, as well as many others, but they have suddenly disappeared into the abyss. It happened while I was rereading "Only words", their epic series of Britin one shots that picks up in season four and fallows Brian and Justin to New York, where they end up moving into a clock tower penthouse. (I read the same series on a tumblr once but I can't remember where)

When I tried to go to the next chapter I got a page that said the work didn't exist, so I did some digging and found one of their fics from a different fandom in orphan account(grrr why would you orphan one fic but delete another???) In my history on Saturday "Only words" is definitely by Artless but on Sunday it's by Obsidienne, which is also what the incredibly talented star trek author ObsidianEmbrace changed their penname to right before they disappeared too???

So I was wondering if anyone has answers or any of Artless's fics saved. I'd like to finish rereading Only Words, but I'd love to get anything else too. It seems to be saved a ton of times on the way back machine, but I can't get to any of the pages bc the link stops working when I try to proceed past the adult content warning.

I've been picking my way through Aly's GIH 4-Shared Mirror author by author. I read a story called "Without you I'm Nothing" by Ghost and I loved it, though sadly it's been a WIP since 2006.

I was wondering if anyone might know of anymore fics by this author? I checked the tags and there's a "ghost writer" but no "Ghost."

UPDATE: It seems like that's the only published story written by this author

I read a fic not long ago where Justin was sperm donor and a child is born. He doesn't know about it until the mother dies and a social worker finds him and tells him about hte child. The child is 4 years old- I don't remember the author or the story title. I need to find the story,

Justin is young, and I think he's living in a boys' group home after losing his family in a car accident? I don't think he knows or believes they are dead and is expecting them to return. Teenaged Brian travels to the group home perhaps to work as a "mentor," as part of a religious retreat. Mikey goes with him.

I remember distinctly a scene where once arriving at the home Brian hears Justin running upstairs making a lot of noise slamming doors, etc. He loves to draw. They meet again as adults. Justin is working at a gallery??? He wears punk style clothes.

Is there a working link for Dead Marine at Babylon or maybe a dl rtf file? The link I did find is dead for whatever reason. Also,I had read To Each His Own and I was wondering if there any more fics with Brian and Justin along those same lines. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You!!

This is my very first request for a fic ever, ever, ever!!! I can’t believe I have to ask for a fic. I know there are 3 parts to this story but when I searched my computer to read it again I was very upset to find out I only have Part 1 saved. I have notes on the fic that there are three parts and I remember reading them but have no idea what happened to parts 2 and 3. I must have messed up when I tried to save the fic and the last 2 parts didn't save.

The fic is Hosteil by janieg or jainieg I’ve also seen the title listed as Hostel/Hostile

This is a season 3ish fic after Stockwell’s defeat. Brian hasn’t started Kinnetik[?] yet and the loft is still empty of furniture. Justin talks Brian into letting Ethan and Wolfram stay with them for a few days. Ethan just got back from a tour and found out his agent did not pay his rent while he was gone so he has no place to live and no money to rent anything at least until he gets paid. I reread the first chapter before I realized I don’t have the whole fic.

Unfortunately

janieg has deleted and purged her live journal so I can’t find the 2 missing parts of the story. If anyone knows where I can find the fic or has the other 2 parts I would be eternally grateful. I still can’t believe I don’t have the whole fic. I don’t think that has ever happened to me before. LOL. Now that I’ve started rereading it I want to finish it.

jainieg is the correct spelling.

UPDATE: Not Found YET!!! But I haven't given up hope of finding it. If plan "A" doesn't work there is always plan "B" and "C" and..... LOL

I just ran across two chapters of a mute!fic by Halcyon on AO3. I've searched Google and all the tags I can think of here, but can't find any reference to more of it. Anyone familiar with it? The premise is great (Brian and Justin are both mute teens who meet in an institution called Windy Hollow) but the writing is so, so stark and haunting. I really hope there is more and someone can direct me to it! Please?
