This is my very first request for a fic ever, ever, ever!!! I can’t believe I have to ask for a fic. I know there are 3 parts to this story but when I searched my computer to read it again I was very upset to find out I only have Part 1 saved. I have notes on the fic that there are three parts and I remember reading them but have no idea what happened to parts 2 and 3. I must have messed up when I tried to save the fic and the last 2 parts didn't save.


The fic is Hosteil by janieg or jainieg I’ve also seen the title listed as Hostel/Hostile

This is a season 3ish fic after Stockwell’s defeat. Brian hasn’t started Kinnetik[?] yet and the loft is still empty of furniture. Justin talks Brian into letting Ethan and Wolfram stay with them for a few days. Ethan just got back from a tour and found out his agent did not pay his rent while he was gone so he has no place to live and no money to rent anything at least until he gets paid. I reread the first chapter before I realized I don’t have the whole fic.


Unfortunately janieg has deleted and purged her live journal so I can’t find the 2 missing parts of the story. If anyone knows where I can find the fic or has the other 2 parts I would be eternally grateful. I still can’t believe I don’t have the whole fic. I don’t think that has ever happened to me before. LOL. Now that I’ve started rereading it I want to finish it.

Thanks to a commenter The authors name might also be spelled jainieg instead of janieg I've found it spelled both ways but I now think jainieg is the correct spelling.


UPDATE: Not Found YET!!! But I haven't given up hope of finding it. If plan "A" doesn't work there is always plan "B" and "C" and..... LOL

I have been trying to find that story for over an hour. The only stories I could find by that author are Buffy fan fiction. I hope someone finds the missing chapters. I would really like to read it.

I had the same problem which is why I requested it. I'm hoping some kind soul saves fics like I do and they might have a copy to share. Its a good fic with an interesting story line. Kind of unusual. Brian so loves Justin to give in to him and let Ethan stay at the loft temporarily and lets the cat stay as well. LOL.

Well that is a help. I got my info from a link I had to the journal I got the story from. [http://www.janieg.livejournal.com/profile] which had the name spelled janieg. But I will follow up with this new info and see what I can find. Thank you so much. I did a search for the story and didn't come up with that at all. But I'm not very good with online searches.

No answer yet but sometimes people don't always check all their emails on a regular basis so I am still holding out hope for the story.

I know I'm bad about checking emails on a daily basis because I'm not always on line every day.

I'll give it a few more days before I seek out other sources of contact.

I'm determined to find this story. LOL.

Yeah, and LJ now also tends to place messages into spam, it happens more and more often. I hope she'll answer! Anyway, let us know if you find the story. I really hope you will, I myself tried looking for it, but with no results. And the longer I can't find some story, the more crazed with need to read it I become :)

Since the beginning of this year, my experience with the PM has been that if there's an email address or possibly just a url (which the PM doesn't convert into a link) in the text, it goes into spam or 'Suspicious Messages...' & on top of this GIH page (for example), the envelope box shows '0' at that time so you'd have no reason to think to ✓ your inbox AND, there'd be nothing new there if u did unless u look at the left hand column & notice that the ... after 'Suspicious Messages' has changed into a # inside of ( ). It didn't use to do that for me thru the end of last year.

I got the reply from Jainieg! She said that she did write the story, but it got lost when she switched computers :( So we can only hope someone among us has it. I'll try a few other sourses now. Still hoping to find it.

Chase, thank you so much for clearing it up to me! This time, when I wrote janieg, I was careful not to put any link or e-mail adress inside.

And, I heard that someone has contacted Seperis through tumblr with the question about this story. She's still looking through her folders, because many stories are untitled, so maybe the person who contacted her could also send her a line or two from the story? It would make her search much more efficient.

yeah, it was me . I thought that she [Seperis] could see quickly if I asked her through tumblr, so I'm still waiting for a response . Since I never read the story I have no idea how can I help her .

I am incredibly impressed. You have all gotten a lot further along in finding the story than I have. I was going to work on it this weekend but you have already done all the work. A BIG THANK YOU!!!!

Here are the first few lines of chapter 1. If you want the entire first chapter just leave a note and I'll upload the first chapter to sendspace when I'm on line again later today. Again Thanks so much for trying to find the story.

Thank you so much! I actually hoped the first chapter would be badly written and totally OOC, so I wouldn't be so tempted to read it further. But of course it turned out to be amazing! Now I feel even more crazed. I really hope Seperis will answer!
