I believe the story is told in alternating POVs. Justin goes to L.A. and during his stay has a drunken bareback encounter (maybe he finds out the guy is positive? I can't remember). He doesn't want to tell Brian about it, but when he comes back to Pittsburgh and won't have sex with Brian, Brian thinks he's cheating again and gets upset. I think that in the end, Justin tells him what happened. He gets tested and doesn't have HIV. I read it over at Archive of Our Own. I can't remember if it's a recent story or not. It was super well-written.

I'm looking for any fic where Hunter is a main character. He doesn't have to be the main character though, as long as he is heavily featured in the story. I don't care what genre. The only thing I do want is for it to be slash, or no pairing at all.

I tried searching some fics on google but that got me nothing haha. Hopefully you can help! Edit: Have some recs but would love more!

zooeyrye posted a request for Brian/Hunter fics. It reminded me of one I recently reread, but I can't remember the title.

It's a post-513 fic. Justin is is NYC, and Brian is missing him terribly. Brian/Justin are the focus of the story, but there is a small side plot:

Brian runs into Hunter at the diner, and the two of them begin meeting for clandestine trysts. Just when the reader wants to smack Brian in the head, Debbie-style, it is revealed that they are meeting so Brian can give Hunter driving lessons. Hunter's ex-girlfriend has jumped to the same erroneous conclusion as many readers, but Brian sets her straight by explaining that he's sort of Hunter's uncle and teaching him to drive. Brian talks the ex into giving Hunter a second chance.
