and somehow a young man that was killed at the party is mistakenly identified as Justin. Brian rushes to LA to identify the body and discovers it isn't Justin. If I remember correctly Justin was knocked over a balcony railing and was unconscious.

I tried to check the tags but there are over 200 entries under the b/j injured tag. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I read this a few years ago. Justin ends up spending a few months in jail to pay for the attack on Hobbs. Cody did not get caught. Brian, thinking it is in Justin's best interest decides to cut all contact and stops visiting or answering messages. Justin tries to call him when he is allowed to use the pay phone. At one point out of frustration after numerous attempts to talk to him, Justin leaves a threatening message, and ends up in solitary confinement for a while. I thought the author was Piksa or Pam81 but not 100% sure. I've checked tags and didn't see any where Justin spends time in jail.

I joined LJ just so I can search for fics with this community after lurking for more than a year. The fic I'm looking for was not, as I recall, on FF.net, AO3 or Midnight Whisphers. I think it might have had a photo of an apartment building either as a banner or embedded. I may have confused two fics, or the author blended seasons, or was going AU, but I seem to recall it was end of season 4, but instead of Justin going to CA, Michael does. I think Ben goes to Tibet (hence my confusion about the seasons). It's primarily a B/J story. I checked tags and memories, but no luck. Hope you can help. I'm off to explore more about LJ if I can figure out the jargon.

This is probably a bit of an odd one...

There was an author website, which was the only place I ever found these fics. They were long and chaptered and I think there was one set after each season - I especially loved the post season 2. The thing I remember about them was the way they were written: they were in the past tense but at the end of every chapter there would be a present tense summary of what each character was doing at the moment, e.g. "Justin paints. Brian smokes. Michael kisses Ben." <- Not that, but along those lines.

All fics wound up B/J. The season 2 one, which I particularly wanted to re-read, had an interesting Brian-Ethan dynamic with Brian remarking something like, "So you practice in public so you can earn money at the same time."

That is literally the only thing I remember other than that the fics were brilliant. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

It's heartbreaking and real and so so good. I would like to find other stories that take on the theme where Brian is poor and really down so Justin tries to help him.

Hi all, I'm looking for a specific Liberty Ride AU/What If story where Justin does go on the ride with Brian and they end up getting lost. They then run into Ted and Emmett whose storyline is the same as the show (i.e. they get lost and do Ted's AA meeting, etc.). HELP! I know I have it saved somewhere but I cannot for the life of me remember the author/name.

I wrote a fic called "Natural Talent" that was set in a sort of expanded Season 4, where Justin's lost the bet and gone back to PIFA but Brian doesn't have cancer and Vic hasn't died.

I was certain I'd written at least one other fic with this premise, but I've been all over my fic list and seem to be wrong about that.

Does this ring a bell with anyone? I ask because I'm writing a story someone won in the fundraising raffle for the Ali Forney Center, and it's set in that "universe." It would be incredibly helpful to me to find it (if I'm not imagining the whole thing).

Brian commits suicide and Vic's soul (god? his guardian angel?) shows him Justin's life without him. Brian decides not to die.

I remember that Justin leaves Pittsburg one week after the funeral. He leaves teddy bear Gus at Brian's grave. He leaves for New-York. He is beaten there and returns to Britin half-paralysed. He doesen't have sex any more and talks only to Gus.

I give up trying to find this on my own...

Justin, Brian and an intern/art department person are in Brian's office at Kinnetic. There is something off with the art work for the campaign Kinnetic is working on. Brian is exasperated, the intern is trying to be invisible, Justin starts making suggestions. Brian thinks Justin's ideas have merit and the intern edges closer to see exactly what they're talking about.

In the end, Brian tells Justin something like "you just saved me hours of work" and instead of pulling a late night they get to leave early.

Help, please?

I believe the story is told in alternating POVs. Justin goes to L.A. and during his stay has a drunken bareback encounter (maybe he finds out the guy is positive? I can't remember). He doesn't want to tell Brian about it, but when he comes back to Pittsburgh and won't have sex with Brian, Brian thinks he's cheating again and gets upset. I think that in the end, Justin tells him what happened. He gets tested and doesn't have HIV. I read it over at Archive of Our Own. I can't remember if it's a recent story or not. It was super well-written.

1 Justin comes home really tired and sees Brian fucking someone in their bed and is upset and is going to go back to his studio when Brian makes a comment about Eathen and Justin tells him he just ran into him at the music store.

2 Justin sends Brian a painting that has six panels and he thinks its not finished when he realizes Justin did finish it and is saying goodbye and Brian hunts him down to a cabin in the woods as Justin is getting ready to leave.

I've been thinking about the beginning of episode 4.1 when Justin says to Brian, "I thought we were partners?" when discussing Brian's dire financial situation after the Stockwell thing, and Brian answers, "We are" without hesitation. I'm wondering if there are any gapfillers where somewhere between "The Greatest Reunification Since Germany" in episode 3.9 and episode 4.1, Brian and Justin decide to label their relationship as a partnership.

Hey all,

Checked the Stockwell tag and a couple others and even checked my saved links but can't find these.

1)Brian starts working as a dishwasher at the diner after Stockwell. Eventually, they buy the diner after owner dies and move in with Debbie. She gets cancer. Michael's an idiot as usual. JR (actually I think named Michelle in this one) calls Brian Dad.

2)Possibly a WIP. B/J poor after Stockwell. Sell loft. Move into rundown building with pretty much nothing. Don't tell gang but they find out and sneak into their new apartment to help make it livable as a surprise for B/J
