Brian and Justin take the kids to a themepark for Hjoliday, Disney or Univeral something similar and the story is told from their guides point of view commenting on the fact that the service is not cheap and that the kids are well behaved and how much Brian and Justin Love each other and the kids. I really enjoyed it as it gave you a really good idea about how happy and successful their life was. But I can not find or remember the writer hopefullly someone here will recognise it.

A few fandom friends and I are compiling lists for a QAF fan Awards event and I was wondering if I could get recommendations from you all.

1. The first would be Major Character Studies. This would focus mainly on one major character in the QAF world (Ben, Brian, Justin, Debbie, Michael, Lindsay, Mel, Emmett, Ted, and Vic.) It would need to focus on their growth, personality, etc. It can take place before, during, or after the show.

2. The second is for secondary and "extra" characters. Same deal but I'm looking for stories that focus on the characters that we don't see as much of like Jennifer, Molly, Daphne, Carl (even though he takes a bigger role later on), Craig, Joan, Jack, Mysterious Marilyn, Todd, one of Brian's tricks. It doesn't matter really. Any secondary or extra character.

Once again...I'm going nuts! I have searched the tags until I feel like my eyes are bleeding, but I know someone will probably recognize this quickly & be all over it. Anyway, I specifically remember:

- Brian is called something like a "big buddy" to Justin, who is either in Kindergarten or the first grade, and Brian is a few years older

- The first time Brian meets him, Justin is wearing some little overalls with Big Bird or Bert & Ernie on them or something (which I can totally picture & is freakin' adorable)

This story progresses through their teenage years and maybe thru college...can't remember, but it's been driving me crazy for the past few days & I finally just said to hell with it & figured somebody out there would know what the f#%! I'm talking about! :)

Dear all, the Kane -series by Erin has been recced by several users. Unfortunaly the site "Mercury rising" has been deleted, and links thus broken. However, I managed to find most of the site, incl Kane-series via Wayback machine, but, unfortunately, chapters 14&15 were still missing.

Does anybody have a functioning link to the whole series, or a pdf of the series or at least the two missing chapters in some form?

I haven't posted here in awhile, but there is a specific fic I'm looking for. I know you guys are awesome at locating lost fics. ;)

The fic I'm looking for, Brian finds out that Joan isn't his real mom. Things I remember from this fic: Brian's birth mom, I believe, sells real estate. She finds her way to Pittsburgh and Liberty Avenue. Overhears (maybe) Ted and Emmett in the diner discussing Brian and Justin & then tracks down Joan Kinney at Joan's house and confronts her. Gives her shit for how she raised Brian and for being a homophobe, etc.

I think Brian and Justin have a kid of their own, plus have regular visitation with Gus, including sleep overs. I remember the "kids" being at Grandma's house...Grandma being Brian's birth mom.

I know Justin & Brian ask Brian's birth mom to come live with them & she agrees, and moves into a mother-in-law type house at the back of their property, I believe.

I don't remember much else, Lol.

Hi!:) I came across 'Point of View' by GaleandRandy four months ago or so, read first few chapters and then stopped because I was disturbed by obviously deep feelings Brian had for Griffin. To me it looked like real, overwhelming, the one of a kind and true romantic Love - and even though I completely *loved* the author's style and descriptions and plot, I decided not to continue, because I just couldn't believe Brian's feelings for Justin will be stronger than that. But this story kept haunting me, and I read so many great comments about it... so, I decided to ask for your advice. Should I read it despite the fact I have troubles with B/J loving someone else? Was I right, and Brian did love Griffin romantically with all his heart, all there is to him, or is there some history there that I'm not aware of? Can Brian's feelings for Justin be even more fascinating and beautiful than they are/were for Griffin? And, as far as I understood from comments, Brian and Justin's break up was in a lot of ways Brian's fault, so I wonder, did it take time for them to find a path to each other again after Griffin's death, or Justin forgave and forgot everything quite easily?

Read it. Can't say I loved it, can't say I hated it. The story itself isn't bad, more than that - it's *beautiful*, just like all GaleandRandy's stories, but I didn't like the main characters: Brian disgusted me - and it was like he didn't understand what he wanted, not in the beginning, not later; I didn't understand Justin at all and I felt nothing for Griffin. So, it was okay to read, but it didn't impress me that much, unfortunately. Still, I'm glad I read it. It was worth it.

Hello again, everyone! Hope all who celebrate Thanksgiving had a good one! Now that my family is gone I'm once again working on my list. As always much thanks to everyone who can help!

1) Looking for a story where Brian and Michael are a couple and Justin is their counselor (I also think there is a story where Justin is a PI and Michael hires him to see if Brian’s cheating on him – are these 2 separate stories?). BJ start having an affair and eventually Michael finds out. I checked the tags for “psychiatrist” and “counselor” as well as the Brian/Michael pairing tag (*shudders*) but couldn’t find what I was looking for. Found thanks to blklizard! The other story I mentioned, where Michael hires Justin to test how faithful Brian is (though JT is not a PI!) is called "Test of Infidelity" by Hamsterfan. 2) Looking for a story where BJ’s neighbors spy on them. I think each section or chapter of the story is written from the POV of a different neighbor? I really don’t know if I just invented this story in my mind, but I swear I read something like this. It’s not the Friends crossover story where BJ are their neighbors. 3) Looking for a story where Brian forces Justin to go to New York but Justin ends up staying in Pittsburgh and dating some guy. Brian eventually finds out and confronts Justin. I read this one a *long* time ago and don’t remember anything else. Have checked the tags but haven’t yet found it. Found by dayumm_gal! Ethan dies, Brian goes to the funeral just to give Justin his condolences and then Justin says something like "I'm glad he's dead"? I swear I read it once, I don't know maybe I dreamt it? I think Ethan was beating Justin or something?

Looking for a specific fic though I am pretty sure there are a couple of "Daphne is raped" fics. The one I am looking for she isn't at a party. She's raped and calls the loft (I think) and is outside somewhere, maybe at the football or baseball field. I think Brian goes after her. It's all I remember really. I did check the "Daphne" tag

Ok, I've been scouring the tags and can't find this. For some reason Brian and Justin have Gus with them in New York, and they go see the Nutcracker. After it's over Brian goes to buy Gus a souvenir or something and while Justin and Gus are waiting they run into Ethan who is playing in the orchestra. They kinda rub it in Ethan's face that they're together and happy. Anyone know what fic I'm talking about? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After slowly immersing myself in QAF again after a few years I was wondering if anyone remembers a fic where Brian and Justin had a cat. I checked the tags and find anything. IFrom what I remember, I think it originally belonged to Ethan and Brian got attached to it after it helped Justin? I think the same author wrote some further one shots where they might have been at Britin.

I'm looking for a fic that is written from both Brian and Justins POV. The format was rather unique it was told in 1 chapter from each POV that had to be read in that order. I never got to read the fic and lost the link. It was a total of 36 chapters (18 each) and was set up as side by side links ( ex. BPOV I JPOV I) each POV had a different title and the abbrev. of the name was the link name for each chapter.

I can't even really tell you what the fic was about just that I meant to bookmark it and then my laptop battery died. I think it was either a kidnapping or MPREG but even that would be a reach.

If anyone can figure it out with such a limited amount of info you will be my HERO.

Hi,

I am looking for a fic that is told by an original character. He is straight, I think a childhood friend of Brian's, and lives in LA or west coast and Justin visits him during the LA period. He has a son who is disabled who loves doing art with Justin, and is as much of a label queen as Brian. Brian put him on some mailing list and he gets excited when some magazine comes. I think the son might have cerebral palsy. At some point the original character talks about how when Brian came out he was mostly annoyed because he was supposed to help with getting girls in college and I think he maybe mentions that they both like blonds.

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated.
