zooeyrye posted a request for Brian/Hunter fics. It reminded me of one I recently reread, but I can't remember the title.

It's a post-513 fic. Justin is is NYC, and Brian is missing him terribly. Brian/Justin are the focus of the story, but there is a small side plot:

Brian runs into Hunter at the diner, and the two of them begin meeting for clandestine trysts. Just when the reader wants to smack Brian in the head, Debbie-style, it is revealed that they are meeting so Brian can give Hunter driving lessons. Hunter's ex-girlfriend has jumped to the same erroneous conclusion as many readers, but Brian sets her straight by explaining that he's sort of Hunter's uncle and teaching him to drive. Brian talks the ex into giving Hunter a second chance.

I read this Fanfiction and I could have sworn I saved it, But it turns out I didn't. It kinda from the That has to be in the top 5 Fucks scene and in this fic Justin decides to play out their Top 5 Fucks. I know One was the first time they had sex after the bashing and another was Justin losing his virginity. But that's about it, Does anyone know where I can find this fic please? I'd be extremly grateful.

Hey...I'm looking for protective!Brian, but a special brand of him. Can you rec me some good fics where Brian is fussing over Justin when there's something minor wrong with him? I want a h/c fic where there's no threat that anyone's going to die, I guess. Not Brian being a hypochondriac, or anything, but...something with Brian fussing over Justin for a cold, or his allergies (this would be amazing), or his head or his hand after the bashing. Justin can react any way--grateful, annoyed, confused.

I'm not looking for OOC stuff (I have that same aversion to Brian's "baby"s that a lot of people do) just Brian being a little overprotective.

Hello! Has anyone ever taken note of fic that has Brian saying those three words (that make our fangirl hearts swoon) in a casual way for the first time? You know, without bombs, any other near-death incidents or any serious diseases nudging him? But not in a huge declaration context either, please! Just something totally undramatic, maybe with the words just slipping out unplannedly? Superextra brownie points if it's IC and not AU, which--as I'm aware--seems kind of impossible. :D

As for what happens after the words are out, I'm not picky. I will take anything from Justin dropping an anvil on his foot (which he could totally be carrying around on an ordinary day) in shock, to him reacting barely fazed and Brian stomping off irritatedly.

Oh, please tell me there's such fic!

This is a fic in which Justin goes into a coma, I'm pretty sure it's post-513 and he and Brian are together. One day Brian just goes to the hospital screaming at him to wake up. Michael comes in and Brian says "I would have done anything for him," and Michael tells him he did. Justin eventually wakes up but is angry all the time at being helped. This is really frustrating because I JUST read it and can't remember where, I didn't save it like an idiot...

I'm looking for two fics...I could have sworn I bookmarked them both, but I can't find them.

Fic # 1: Brian is in the hospital, I think Ted walked into his office and found him passed out. Justin is called, and he and Ted sit and wait for news together. Brian has a look on his face when he is daydreaming about Justin, which Ted and Cynthia call "The Justin Look." I think Justin also apologizes for not being more supportive when Ted got out of rehab.

Fic #2: I don't remember a lot of details, I just remember that Justin had been working out a lot, and Brian was noticing that Justin had developed abs. Um...I know that's not a lot to go on, but maybe someone remembers reading something like this?

Okay, so I've been trying to find these two fics and it's been bugging me for days!

1) The first one is a Gus fic and in it he runs away from Canada to the Pitts to see Brian. It's revealed that the reason he runs is because he called Lindsay and Melanie some pretty offensive names. There was another scene where Brian and Gus go to see Justin. Gus asks Justin if he's mad at what Gus said and Justin says "no." Brian also takes Gus shopping and Gus makes Brian ride on the bus or subway.

2) The second one begins with Cody and possibly the posse attacking Justin. I know Cody points the gun at Justin's head. Justin then goes to his and Daphne's apartment and locks himself in his room. Daphne freaks because he won't come out so she calls Brian. I think Brian comes over and breaks down the door.

I'm here since I enjoyed reading the B/J fics with children, I thanked you all for finding the links, it was incredible! Now I'm in the mood for the B/J fics with either cat or dog including if Gus might be cameo in these fics, hopefully and I prefer that it might only be complete, but if it might be in progress, so it's okay. I hope you can recommended the links to me so I can read it anytime I want to, so thanks!

It's almost October, boys and girls, and that means Halloween. What are your favorite QaF stories with supernatural elements? And no, I don't "Supernatural" the series--just your ordinary ghosts, goblins, and other things that go bump in the night.

Ghosts:
I already love Never Have, Never Will, a story in which Brian's loft is haunted by Michael's ghost.
I also loved a story in which Justin rents the loft only to meet ghost-Brian. Brian is in a coma, not dead, but I can't remember the title. (Update: It's Just Like Heaven.)
And, I know there's one in which Justin died when he was bashed and now haunts Brian. Again, I can't remember the title. (Update: It's Better Now.)
Any other ghost recs?

Irish Folklore:
I know I've read a few QaF fics inspired by Brian's Irish heritage in the direction of Irish folklore. Brian Kinney and the..., for example, is a clever "Brian encounters a leprechaun" tale.
What else can you recommend?

Others:
I see there is a tag here for vampires, and one for zombies, so you don't have to rec anything found under those tags. But if you have anything else to rec, I'll gladly take it!

Hi, everyone...I'm looking for several different things tonight...

- Does anyone remember a short Ted/Blake story (I'm pretty sure it was post-513) where Ted (who is living with Blake) is taking care of his sister's cat, while she's away having a baby...but then Brian (who for some reason has gotten a dog) comes over and leaves his dog with Ted and Blake too? And I think the dog starts chasing the cat around the apartment.

Sorry, if that's a bit vague; I only read this one once a long time ago (and remembered it while reading a current WIP about Brian and Justin as dogs...)

- The second story I'm looking for is another short one...I think I found the rec here once, but I have no idea where. What I remember is that Justin has a bad reaction to some E and ends up in the hospital, and afterwards Brian feels really guilty and swears off drugs.

-Also, does anyone know if the fic "Limited Time," (I think the author is Lizzy, but I'm not sure) is anywhere other than BJfic.net. It's a death-fic where Justin is a terminally-ill cancer patient when he meets Brian, they fall in love, get married, but Justin dies pretty soon after that. I remember a scene at the end where Brian goes to visit Justin's grave...there's also a scene, after Justin dies, where Brian goes to confront Justin's parents about kicking him out and not caring if he was sick.

-The last thing I'm looking for is a story I was reading recently. I'm sure it was on Moonshadow Tribe, but I can't remember the title or author...it's a future AU, but I'm not sure from what point. Justin leaves Pittsburgh and cuts all ties with his family and friends who have no idea where he went or why he really left. A few years later, Gus is on a school field trip to Boston and sees Justin at an art gallery. It later comes out that it was Kip who blackmailed Justin into leaving town and disappearing.

So, I was wrong. Justin is found by the french guy, and becomes semi-conscious; he thinks Jean Phillipe is Brian. But this is it! But the part where he passed out was right. I googled it and found both stories here: http://deadfic.livejournal.com/29939.html

So... the last days I read a couple of good fics, but I realized most of them portrayed Justin as a weak, teary-eyed bottom, who's always the one who needs to be protected, to be taken care of, cheered up etc.

Are there any fics (B/J of course) where Justin isn't whiney?
C'mon... I need some fics, where he's strong and smart and sexy and knows what he's worth ;)
