Hello! I have not posted here in so long!  I went to the memories and found very little in Gus stories! Can anybody rec. any Gus stories, but not grown-up Gus stories but when he is still a kid? I have always loved Gus! Thanks

Well, most of the "custody fics" and "dead lesbians" fics in memories feature Gus, so you could start there. Some others that come to mind:

Always Have, Always Will (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/WF/AHAW.htm) by Wren is a sequel to her ghost story AU "Never Have, Never Will," but you don't have to read the first story to enjoy this one. Just know that Brian meets Justin after Justin has gone to Dartmouth, and that Justin based Rage upon his own powers.

Miracle on Tremont Street (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/Challenge/CC/11.htm), also by Wren, is another AU with Brian and Justin meeting later. In this one, Gus asks Santa to bring his daddy "someone to love him."

A self-rec, Gus's Family Portrait (http://mysid.livejournal.com/85952.html), is a ficlet in which Gus draws a picture of his family. His teacher wants to know who everyone is.

Trading Spaces (http://morpheusqaf.com/TradingSpaces.html) by Morpeus is an alternate Season 4. The premise is that after being fired from VanGard, Brian takes a job in LA, and Justin goes with him. Gus doesn't appear until Part 9 when Lindsay and Gus pay them a visit. Their trip to Disneyland takes a turn for the worse when they run into Joan, Claire & sons, and Joan's sister who lives in LA.

There's also one in which Justin has a baby with Daphne, and Brian & Justin take Gus and the baby to Disneyworld. I can't remember the title--anyone? It's a bit OOC for some people's taste. But if you want Brian being the perfect partner and "Superdad", it's just the thing.

Another one that comes to mind--all but the title and author--is one of the lengthy post-513 stories. The part I'm remembering is Gus visiting Brian and Justin at "Britin" which still has almost no furniture. Justin, making the best of the situation, puts sleeping bags, etc. in the living room, declares the fireplace their "campfire", and announces that they are "camping out" inside.

I only recently discovered--where have I been?--that "How We Got Where We're Going" has a sequel, Now That We're Here (http://allie-quixotic.livejournal.com/tag/now+that+we%27re+here). Unfortunately, it's unfinished and has been "put on permanent hiatus". But if you can stand the frustration of an unfinished story, there are nine wonderful chapters waiting to be read.

How about the one were Justin takes care of a colicky Gus by using a massager to put him to sleep? I can't remember the name of it. It is a cute fic, it might be someting you might like. If any one should know it and finds it for you.
