Hello everyone! Kinda weirdly specific request here. Looking for recs of stories where B/J are partners in crime/sidekicks/working together to battle external forces/enemies/evil/mysteries/something outside their relationship? Not necessarily that they are policemen or detectives.

Something like Severina's zombie!fic or Grover's "If it made sense, it wouldn't be a mystery..." or Jane's Ding Dong the witch is dead. Even supernatural ones are good! Preferably in-canon or Post 513, but I'm open to great AUs as well.

I know it is at least a week until Halloween but I’m a Halloween junkie. I’ve been reading Halloween stories for weeks. It’s my favorite time of the year and while I have a huge file of B/J QAF Halloween type stories I’m always looking for MORE. So,couple years ago, I read this fic where Brian has a fight with Justin and then...well a zombie apocalypse happens and he has to get back together with Justin and fight off zombies too.Basically,the plot is like Shaun of the dead,but I dont remember neither the title,nor the author... it was really funny and thrilling.
If anyone knows what the fic was called,or has a link,I would really apreciate it.

Other fandoms have a lot of it, but I can't say I've ever read anything like it in QAF fanfiction - a nice (or not so nice!) apocalyptic, end of the world, battle for survival, zombies slash earthquake slash nuclear fallout fic where our favourite characters fight for survuval and conquer all, or not as the case may be.
Surely there is something along those lines, somewhere? I'm in a dark, apocalyptic mood. But I'm totally not against the thought of a happy ending, no matter how dire the circumstances may seem.

Also, another quick question... I remember once reading a fic where Brian had ties to the Irish Mafia, and hired a hitman to avenge some wrongdoing against Justin. I can't remember the name of the fic, but I think Ethan was involved and Justin was in trouble for something and went on the run to New Orleans (this rings a bell I think). I would like to know the specific fic, but what I'm really asking is if anyone knows of another fic where Brian does something illegal (and I don't just mean the ususal drugs). Ties to organised crime, premeditated beating someone to a pulp, even something more serious. I would be especially thrilled if the reasons were him being protective of our favourite little blond.
It just seems to fit, doesn't it? We all love him, but he doesn't exactly carry a halo with him, and - to use a British term - he is a bit dodgy, isn't he? It all just follows... in my mind, anyway.

Are there any stories with Brian and Justin in peril together and they work together to get out of it. In other words, no Brian saving Justin or Justin saving Brian but both of them saving one another?

ETA: Many recommendations in the comments. Thank you. It looks like only one is canonish though. Are there any more that aren't au? Or is "Justin not being helpless" and "canonish" almost mutually exclusive;)? (Haven't had a chance to check out the "down a well" and "stranded" stuff yet.)

So... the last days I read a couple of good fics, but I realized most of them portrayed Justin as a weak, teary-eyed bottom, who's always the one who needs to be protected, to be taken care of, cheered up etc.

Are there any fics (B/J of course) where Justin isn't whiney?
C'mon... I need some fics, where he's strong and smart and sexy and knows what he's worth ;)

Hi...I'm looking for two stories tonight that I've been going nuts trying to find...I've already been all over the memories and searched my computer for a link...

The first one is the season-4 story where Justin is attacked by Cody and another guy...for a while I was confusing this one with either "The Ugly Side of Beautiful" by Sapphire or "This Time" by Vamphile but it's not either one of those. Justin is attacked in both of those and Brian saves him, but in those the attacker is someone other than Cody (I can't remember in the one I'm searching for if Brian's the one to save him. It's not a rape-fic; Justin is attacked but they don't manage to rape him.) It's also not the story "Pink Pain" by Thyme.

...the second story I want is the fic where B/J and the gang are at a cabin and they're being attacked by zombies; that's all I remember and it's a one-shot...I know, but I really want to read that one again.

I'm looking for a fic that is hard to stop reading, one that you keep looking forward to the next installment. I'm thinking of something along the lines of someone being in trouble, missing, or behaving differently, something that causes angst. And I definitely want Brian or Justin to be the main character that is involved.

An example of the type of story I'm looking for in which I have already read are Layla's Psycho fic, a Without a Trace/QAF unfinished story I read where Justin was missing, a couple of stories where Gus was kidnapped or missing, a story I am reading now by RageJT where Justin took off because he caught Brian in bed with Daphne.

I hope I am not being too confusing or vague or asking for too much. I guess what I'm looking for is a suspense filled,action packed, Brian and Justin centered, angst ridden drama that keeps you at the edge of your seat (or your computer screen)wanting more.

Whenever You're Ready was her brilliant and totally unique Nanowrimo 2007. For her 08 it says she was writing a sequel, but I can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a link? Or know what it was called? Or if she did, in fact, write it?

Hi :). I have been trying to find a fic I read some time ago. I never got all of it, and I also remember reading that there was to be a sequel. Anyway, the fic was called, I think, Zombie Nation. The QAF gang are trying to survive a plague that has created zombies out of the dead. At the end of the first series, Brian and Justin leave by themselves, and Michael, Ted, and I believe Emmett, take off with others on another objective.

I would love to try and read this in whole if anyone knows where to find it.

EDIT: LInk found in comments. However I think I have also been confusing two different zombie fics. The one found is the one I have described above with its sequel. But there is another one called Zombie Nation of which I only read one chapter and never found the rest. Justin and Brian are in NY in a cab when they crash and the driver is a zombie. Justin also has to kill his roommate when they return to his apartment because she has become a zombie.

Hello

I'm looking for a certain NAno fic that I seemed to have lost the link to. I forgot the authors name but I know its somheplace on LJ. Its a Zombie fic ( I kid you not), where Brian and Justin wake up from a weekend of 'fun' to find the world has all but gone to hell. They have a message from Michael on the cell telling them to get out of the city, but they think he's telling them to go to the mall.

I yearn greatly for end-of-the-world fics. D:

I Am Legend just came out on DVD, and in my toe-dipping experience in other fandoms I found this divine House fic in which. Well, there are zombies. So that is...really what I am looking for. Zombies, ~~darkseekers,~~ biblical wrath... an Evan Almighty/Noah's Ark flood sort of thing. I pine for this.

The only fic I'm aware of that fits the bill (aside from the Shaun of the Dead parody, read it by the way) is Seven (7?) by yoursweater. Which I can't read (even after much google fu and creative wayback machine-ing) because I can't join the community. I'd love to read it if anyone has a copy or a link. Fic acquired! :D

Anyway. Give me your swarms of locusts, mutant viruses, undead hell puppets... Just warn for major character death, please. (:

eta: Two fics found that exceed any feeble expectations I had. End of the world fics are generally excellent as a rule, of course, so that says something. Links in comments, because I am sleepy.
