Unpopular opinion: Superdaddy!Brian bores me.
So I'm looking for stories in which Brian is around the age he is in canon and Gus doesn't exist or he's not Brian's son.
They have to be B/J centric, of course.
No character bashing or Brian/Other please.

Seems I've been avoiding the fandom since the election (HUGE grimace HUGE depression), but started thinking of a story that I can't get off my mind. Maybe finding it will cheer me up???

Justin is a ghost who lives in the studio of his old family home. I think he feels he was abandoned there. Brian is looking for a house and Jennifer shows him her old home, where she's not aware Justin's spirit is trapped. Eventually B/J meet, fall in love. Brian is the only one who can see him, but they have a tumultous relationship. Something about lots of food but Justin can't eat, and jealous Justin queening out in the studio. Eventually Gus believes in Justin's existence. At the end Gus is married with kids and Brian somehow joins Justin.

I couldn't find it in the b/j is a ghost/spirit tags. Help?

I could've sworn I read this story over at the BJ community, but now can't find it.

Justin lives in an apartment, but he is afraid to come out. I believe Brian or Emmett live down the hall from him? Brian/Emmett take notice on their reclusive neighbor and try to help Justin over come his fear.

I'm going to keep searching, but if anyone knows the story, help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm looking for a wonderfull story. Chris Hobbs and Justin are still teenagers. Chris ruin Jennifer car and when Justin go to confront him Chris ask him to give him a blowjob if he want him to pay for the demage. Chris father come home and catch them, he took a bat and atack Chris with it. He then call the police and acuse Justin for the atack. Justin run away before the police arive. Justin find a house on the beach and thinking is abandone, go in and go to sleep. Turn out it's Brian house and Emmett is his house man.

All I remember is that Daphne has Justin daughter when he was bushed and never told him. Now years later she is
married and her husband want to adopt her child she needs Justin approval. She suddenly reappear at Justin and Brian
house and told them the truth but it seems that her marriage is not a good one.

I know I have read several books with Brian being a writer. I have combed the Different Professions tag and didn't see anything. I can't remember the ones I have read, just that i loved them. Anyone have any suggestions, I am not looking for one in particular. I am in the need of Brian in some other profession other than cop or lawyer.

Justin is homeless (I think) he is cold and sick and stumbles into the hallway of a building. He goes to sleep but is very sick and ends up in the hospital. Somehow Justin ends up living in the building, Brian is a recluse living on the top floor. He gets hurt and Justin takes care of him.

OK...I give up! I checked the tags as best I could with the limited memory I have of this fic. I've also searched the fics I have saved.

All I really remember is that Brian is living with and working for an older biracial(?) couple that has a greenhouse with some kind of temperature control (not really an important fact, just remembered that part) while maybe still in college. One of the older men is not in good health and they eventually move out to, maybe Arizona or New Mexico, or something like that because the guy gets along better in the warmer climate. I believe they give the house to Brian when they go. One of the men's name may possibly be Marcus, but I could be totally wrong about that:)

I know I'll probably kick myself as soon as someone tells me what it is, but until then...I'm going nuts! Please have mercy on my mental health and give me a clue!

I'm pretty sure this is a Moonshadow Woman fic
Brian owns a building that appears to be unoccupied.
Justin is a runaway and breaks into the building.
Brian has some housekeeper/property manager couple.
Justin is given a message (written) that he is allowed to spend one night, clean up (gets money?) but then he must leave and not return.
Of course, Justin returns to try to figure out the mystery.

I'm looking for the story where Justin (a famous artist) finds Brian on his porch. The last thing Brian remembers is that he was in San-Franciso (I think). Justin lives somewhere near NY. He decides to help Brian find out where he spent several monts/years that he doesn't remember. The Pittsburg "family" is sure that Brian is dead.

Brian commits suicide and Vic's soul (god? his guardian angel?) shows him Justin's life without him. Brian decides not to die.

I remember that Justin leaves Pittsburg one week after the funeral. He leaves teddy bear Gus at Brian's grave. He leaves for New-York. He is beaten there and returns to Britin half-paralysed. He doesen't have sex any more and talks only to Gus.

I just finished re-reading Simon's Other Foot series and I remember someone wrote another Foot series where one of Simon's Chapters left off and Justin left New York and the townhouse, never to be seen again and Brian tries to find him. When Brian finds him , he's in a wheelchair and Steve ends up being a jerk and the men break up. I looked in all the usual tags , hurt, down a well, Brian and other, Justin runs away, but no Justin in a wheelchair. Does anyone remember this one?

Brian has become a bit of a loner because he was injured in (I think) the bombing of Babylon.

A few of the Liberty Ave. peeps died as well including Ted and Michael (again, I think). He goes to some out of the way place to escape. Justing\ is there as actually lives there and has his own physical disability (cause I can't remember) which is possibly a limp. I know I'm not being a huge help here.

Anyway, Justin is "assigned" to help Brian while. They,fall in love and supposedly, along the way, their disability and/or scars disappear when, really, they don't. It's their love for each other that causes it...because of that love, they no longer see the imperfections of the other.

Ringing any bells for anyone??

Okay I have been searching for this fic in memories but I can't find it.

It is a fic with Brian being in a wheelchair after an accident and Justin who moved in a loft down from Brian. Brian at first not nice to Justin but in the end Brian and Justin get together.

Does anyone know what this fic is called. I don't remember the name of the author who wrote this excellent story.

So I am looking for this story. I am not sure if that is the correct title. Brian and Justin meet in a different way. Okay, I've been through the TAGS and MEMORIES and read pretty much whatever I could. Anyway, I am wondering if I give some ideas of sorts of stories I love reading, if anyone could find something that is not in the TAGS or MEMORIES? Thanks in advance to anyone that helps.

1. Are there any stories where Brian fathers a child for Cynthia?
2. Brian or Justin disappear but only the other is looking for them, not anyone else.
3. Any stories where Justin and Mel have a child together, not Michael and Mel.
4. Brian and Justin raise John and Peter and/or Molly, Gus or Jenny Rebecca.
5. Anything where Linds and/or Michael try to break up Brian and Justin, but it doesn't work.
6. Anything Mpreg (Justin) that he tells Brian right away.
7. Stories where Brian finds out what Justin did to get Kip to drop the lawsuit.

I've checked the memories/tags and those either don't interest me or I've read them.

I like stories that are way different than the canon, where Justin doesn't run after Brian. So, basically where he's more... Mature? And where his personality is like Brian.

1- Brian and Justin are not together but they are still friends, post season 2 but I'm not sure. Brian has cancer (in the liver, I guess) and Mel is the onl one who knows. He goes into surgery and Vic goes to visit him. That's all I remember.

2- Post season 2. Brian goes to another city and meets a guy names Aaron, they start a BDSM relationship. Brian travels to this city almost every weekend to see the guy, but he's still in love with Justin. Last time I saw this, it was a WIP.

3-Justin is Gus's teacher. Brian is in some sort of cage, he's not exactly human, and Justin does something that pisses someone off and they throw him in the cell with Brian. They develop a connection but Brian doesn't talk.

5- Brian had an accident and uses a beard to hide his face. Justin works for him (? I don't know) and falls for him but Brian is a bitter person, lives alone away from everyone. I think he's a writer. I remember something about an accident, Michael was there and they blame Brian because Michael almost died. I'm not sure if I'm mixing two stories here.

The first is a fic search. I think Justin and Brian have been apart for years or something and when they finally get back together in his urgency he very nearly fucks Justin Raw and stops when he realizes what he was doing and puts on a condom. I think they might be in Britin or Justin's house or something?

The next is a Rec. Are there any PRIDE fics? With National Coming out Day on the 11th and the little celebration I'm going to for it I want to read Pride fics.

Oh and one last Rec. Justin was injured and locks himself away and Gus is kind of like his friend for a school thing. Justin has a photo of him and brian that has been worn away on Brian's face. And I think Justin is Blind?
