moonflowerkc.livejournal.comI'm looking for a fic where Brian/Justin meet earlier than in the show. Justin is a child and attending boarding school. Brian is a teen (or early 20's) working as a gardener there. They meet and become friends. I think Justin gave Brian his shell bracelet. I don't remember what happens next and they lose touch; maybe just life. They reconnect when Justin is older (maybe 17 like in the show).

Checked the Stockwell tag and a couple others and even checked my saved links but can't find these.
1)Brian starts working as a dishwasher at the diner after Stockwell. Eventually, they buy the diner after owner dies and move in with Debbie. She gets cancer. Michael's an idiot as usual. JR (actually I think named Michelle in this one) calls Brian Dad.
2)Possibly a WIP. B/J poor after Stockwell. Sell loft. Move into rundown building with pretty much nothing. Don't tell gang but they find out and sneak into their new apartment to help make it livable as a surprise for B/J

because the majority of the fics i've read have brian being all rich and successful already and justin's either a hustler, a student, a starving artist looking for a job or just some random joe. I mean even if it's canon, they always make justin just average. you know what I mean? haha anyway, I'm just looking for fics where maybe they're both already established in their careers and they're both already well known. I guess maybe it would have to be post 513, but AU's are okay too. Whatever you guys can give me is fine.
I also read one where they were described as being a power couple? so yeah, that's it. If you can help me find this 'power couple' fic and also fics that have them on equal footing, that would be awesome.

Im searching for a fic im sure i have it..it started right after the whole election season and Brian started to work in the port and lumber? Justin and he arranged a contract as domestic partners for safety and financial reasons..they hid it from everyone. I think that its has a sequel too..I cant remember the name and I have no idea what tag to for..Thankyou! Im going to kick myself with this one...

Rat in the Loft

Also... I wanna check that Building Blocks is the fic I think it is. Ok... so what I remember is that Justin is working for Daphne's dad construction company with her (and I remember picturing Daph with a tool belt on) at Brian's loft. Chris works there too and him and Justin getting in a fight and Justin hits his head on a beam or something. i also remember that at first justin thought Brian was straight for whatever reason.
If I'm mixing up the title and the description, it doesnt matter... I want them BOTH!!! lol

I know at first he only wanted to work in the back, in the kitchen, because he was afraid the people of Liberty would not give him tips and dislike him because how harsh he use to be.
