What I remember from the fic is Gus and his little brother are close. They pretty much take care of each other as Sam and Lindsay are so self-involved. I remember a scene where Gus is walking down a New York street with his brother and Brian and Justin find them. Maybe Justin has a show in town? I'm sorry, but that's all I remember.

I imagine this is in the tags somewhere, but I'm not having any luck finding it.

I recall that there was a horrible car crash with Linds, Mel, Justin, and Gus all in the car. I believe Justin rescues Gus, who sees his mothers die horribly. Justin is seriously injured or at least bloody, but Justin comforts Gus and will not let the paramedics help him until they get Brian there to take care of Gus.

I don't believe B/J knew one another (or at least not well) before the accident, but I think that after the accident, they raise Gus together.

I also recall that the day after the crash, Brian visits the site and is horrified by the burned and mangled wreckage of the car, realizing how much Justin risked to save Gus and how lucky he is that Gus lived through it.

I appreciate any help offered!

Hope someone can help.
I have very vague recollections of this story.
Brian and Justin have custody of children, one of which was fathered by Michael. I'm guessing the kids are Gus and JR but I'm not sure. Michael didnt want full custody so he's ok with the arrangement. I'm assuming Mel&Linds are dead.

Anyway, Justin bought a cabin in the countryside and he, Brian and the kids spend Xmas and new year there and are uncontactable for the month. They decide to do this every year.I remember Debbie & Michael were pissed about this.

I know it's not a lot to go on, but I hope it rings a bell with someone. I've checked deadlesbians and B/J raise gus/JR tags but no joy.

1) Brian was adopted in a rather shady manner. His birth parents were only 13 or so when he was born. Justin tracks down the birth mother, who lives close to Britin, and goes with Jen to make sure the woman isn't a homophobe. Brian then meets his huge extended family. There is a very, very small snipped of a fic I recall. I just can't find the story it belongs to. I think there had been some dispute over custody of Gus. The only scene I remember is of Brian sitting by the pool or in the back yard, at Britin I believe, smoking pot. Debbie comes in and starts to go off on him about smoking up around Gus. Brian shuts her down angrily. There is a lot of tension between the two.

I hate that I can't remember more, but does anyone recall this scene or something close? Thanks

Help! I am trying to find a multi part fic that has Justin coming home from NY to find Brian living in one room in Britin. He has a mattress on the floor and only 1 pillow(they go pillow shopping). This is in the beginning of the story and it is driving me crazy. I have searched the tags but so far no luck! Hi. I'm looking for an AU fic where Brian is an English teacher at Justin's school. A few things I remember:

Justin has a crush on Brian.
Justin and Daphne went to Babylon and Justin is shocked to find his teacher in the back room, er, doing stuff.
Brian is mad Justin used his fake ID to get in.
Brian's dad died and Justin skipped school and went to his funeral.
Lindsay is an Art teacher at the same school.
Brian kissed Justin a few times, but then always push Justin away because he's a teacher.
Brian owns Babylon and forbids Justin from going back but of course Justin goes anyway.
Justin meets the gang and find out from Emmett that Brian wrote a series of erotica books and has money.

I read it on Midnight Whispers and it's still a WIP.

I'm looking for an anti-Mel fic and I checked the tags but couldn't find it. What I remember is Lindsay left Mel and for revenge(?), Mel sues for custody of Gus. The thing is, she really knows nothing about Gus since she works all the time and it's Lindsay who did all the parenting. I remember a social worker made a surprise visit to Mel's house and Mel made excuses not to let her in. However, she peeked through the window and it was a mess. When Mel got the chance to spend a day with Gus, all she did was work and left him to play by himself. I believe Lindsay knew that would happen and even made a comment about spending an entire day with Gus would drive Mel nuts since she's not really parental; they knew Gus won't be in any real danger though. I think she even picked up a woman while ignoring Gus. Brian had hired a private investigator which is how they know all of that, and they used the evidence to fight her in court.

The may or may not be a sub-plot within a larger fic. Thanks for any help.

Hi, everyone! I was watching 512-513 today and got very angry - again - at Lindsay and Melanie. Brian clearly told them he doesn't give them his permission to take Gus and move to Canada, but then Lindsay acted like he didn't say anything. It was horrible. I'm looking for stories where Brian doesn't let Lindsay shut him up and refuses to let Gus move, where he insists on his opinion. I don't remember ever reading anything like that.
