Hey all!

I'm looking for a fic that I read a really long time ago where Justin and Brian are working on their relationship and in doing so I think they go to therapy but I'm not sure. Justin buys a chair that I think he calls the "talking chair" to put in the loft for one of them to sit in when they want to talk to the other about something emotional. It comes out in all of this that Brian attempted suicide multiple times (including on his 30th birthday and I think when Justin left him for Ethan).

Hi all! I'm hoping for help locating one specific fic and recs for two other types.

1. I remember Brian taking Justin to the University he went to (Penn, I'm guessing?) and they wind up on the roof of a building Brian had once considered jumping from. A security guard makes them leave. ** FOUND ** This is part of Morpheus' season 3 fics. Thanks to kmboatright!

2. I'd like to read some fics where B & J are in high school together, but that aren't completely depressing angst-fests. It doesn't need to be total fluff, but I'd like something that doesn't focus on Brian being abused, or Justin being sent away, or some other super serious Lifetime movie kinda thing - something that's more typical high school, if that makes sense. Think 'My So-Called Life' or 'Dawson's Creek'. It'd be a bonus if others in the gang are with them, and a jealous Mikey and/or Lindz is always fun. Definitely prefer multi-chap and complete. ** 1 suggestion in comments, still looking for others **

3. The other type of fic I'm in the mood for are ones where B & J become a power couple, solid and together, but far from 'Stepford fags'. Rather than completely settling into domestic bliss, they're more jetsetters with a measure of celebrity, perhaps. Paeansong's 'Talisman of Time' series (wish she'd come back) seemed headed that direction and is a good example of what I mean. Again, I prefer multi-chap and complete. ** 1 suggestion in comments, still looking for others **

The season is here and I'm listening to the Christmas classics and watching Scrooge... and this little scene popped into my head from a story I read some time ago. I'm sure it's part of a longer tale, but near the end, I believe, everyone is at Britin to celebrate Christmas. Brian had opened up to Justin and told him about his painful and disappointing Christmases as a child and losing his belief in Santa. During the celebrations Jennifer and Deb (I believe) watch as Justin gives Brian a present he had asked Santa for as a child, that has a tag attached apologizing for the very late delivery. It was a very touching scene and I know a few fics have similar scenes. This one was particularly touching because of Jennifer and Deb's reactions.

Any help finding this would be much appreciated, and I'll throw in a Christmas cookie and a cup of cocoa, too!

I only remember one scene in this story and it's a long time since I read it. I remember there was an emotional Brian scene where he took Justin to a secret place - an abandoned building or mine shaft or something - where he kept a kind of hideout. There was a box, I believe, and Brian showed Justin the things that were in the box which were, I believe, a few mementos from his childhood. In any event, they were items that held special meaning to Brian. I don't think even Michael knew about the place. It was quite an emotional scene, from what I recall. I've been through the tag a dozen times and can't find anything like this.

Anyone recall something like this?

I'm looking for a story that I read awhile ago. I don't remember the story's name or author. I just remember a really cute scene where Brian and Justin were at a business dinner of Brian's with I want to say a few other couples. Leo Brown possibly being one of the other couples. The cute part was when the other wife's got up to go to the restroom they told Justin to come with them and he did. He was in the women's restroom as if he was one of the wife's. If anyone recognizes this I would really appreciate it. Thanks

Hi. It's a very common story. Joan goes to brian and they have a fight or something. Then joan visits Justin at the art gallery and he is so stunt that he doesn't know what to do. When he tells brian about it her gets really angry with Justin. I check all the Joan tag.

I'm looking for a story, I think it's called Concrete Angel. Justin writes a story about an abused child as a song for a school assignment and Daphne sings it. Brian hears it and realizes that it is about him and uses it for a PSA about child abuse. I can't remember who wrote it. Please help.

Being that it's Spring Break at the university where I work, I've been reading a lot (and simultaneously learning to really love this community and its wonderful system of tagging - very useful). I've read several stories where Brian hurts Justin, usually accidentally but sometimes when he's angry. I was wondering if there are any where the reverse occurs - where Justin physically injures Brian in some way? I'm apparently in the mood for turning themes around, as I'd also love any story that has Brian not enjoying bottoming but doing it (rarely, perhaps) for Justin anyway - it seems like everyone has Brian secretly loving bottoming, but what if he just doesn't enjoy it that much? I'm not saying he hates it, just that he's a top physically and emotionally.

ETA: One suggestion from the lovely wouldbedorothy, but still looking for more. Maybe I should try my hand at writing one....

Hi! First time posting, long time lurker, okay maybe only like a month, month and a half but still that's a long time right? And Mods? I hope I am posting right, if not please tell me and I will fix it.

Okay, so it is driving me nuts and I am probably only drive you all nuts too because I only remember that Justin was scared to talk or make decisions on his own or something. It drove Brian crazy I think but he was calm and sweet when he tried to come up with a way to have Justin's voice heard so Justin started to tap Brian's thigh? That is literary the only thing I remember of the story. I am so sorry.

I hope someone out there remembers this story.

And I don't know what to do with the tags, sorry mods. I will fix it if there is something wrong, I swear.

Hi, basically I'm looking for a specific fic that's about 60 chapters and is definitely on midnight whispers. Brian has nightmares and justin persuades him to see this psychiatrist. I remember that they both had 1 hr a day to look after each other. Anyway, I'm sure I initially found it off this site, but I've searched through the and I tags I can't find it.

I'm 99% sure that the title is "Stranded," and I think I was reading this on the Moonshadow Tribe site. Unfortunately, there's no "search by title" on that site. I did try Googling key words, but Google failed me. I also clicked on the "B/J stranded somewhere" tag here, but I didn't find it that way either.

The story is an AU. Brian is a writer and is currently living in a remote area of Oregon. (Cougar Camp Trail?) Driving back to his house (government owned, he's borrowing it) during the beginning of severe blizzard, he picks up Justin. They become completely snowed in for an extended period of time.

Hi there:

First time to this community and first time posting. I hope I'm doing it right & I hope someone can help. :) I *know* I bookmarked both fics(at least I *think* I did), but for the life of me, I can't remember the fic titles OR authors. Sooo frustrating. :-/

Fic 1: there's a scene in which Brian & Justin are out to dinner with Jennifer(and maybe Tucker) & during the course of this meal, Justin winds up going to the restroom--Brian follows of course--and J proceeds to blow B, but before B can fuck J, J smirks and leaves the restroom, leaving B in the lurch, so to speak. Later on after they're back home at the loft, J goes to doze off, but B oh so helpfully reminds J, that J needs to be "punished" for his little stunt in the restaurant's restroom...and spanking ensues. Lol....that's ALL I can remember.

Fic 2: There's a couple of role-playing scenes Brian & Justin do in this fic(I think it's a long fic, too). One scene is B texting J to meet him at their usual hotel room & J shows up at the room, wearing his old school uniform(which B wasn't expecting him to wear, but certainly doesn't mind *G*)and B is amused and pulls J into the room, before anyone sees J and thinks B has hired him as a hustler. Lol.

Blake is a nurse/aid... wonder if there are IN CHARACTER fics where Brian is a Psychiatrist to Justin....
