I’m looking for a story I read a while ago that is set between Justin leaving for NY and the re-opening of Babylon. The main gist of the story is that the wedding rings (which remain in their box) and get passed between Brian and Justin whenever they see eachother. One time I think was when Justin had been staying at the loft and Brian slipped the ring box in his bag for him to find when he got back to NY. I think the last chapter was on the night of the reopening of Babylon. Brian had sent Justin a package as he couldn’t make the reopening. He calls Justin from Babylon and tells him to open the package and inside he finds the ring box and when he opens it it’s full of Babylon glitter. I think it was an unfinished WIP but I’m not sure. I had a look through the b/j rings tag but couldn’t find anything like this.

I know it's a one-shot, Ted and Blake have their housewarming party, though I'm not sure if they bought a house or just re-did Ted's condo. Justin is living in New York and ships the painting he did for them to Brian ahead of time. At the party, he's pleased that Brian says it's from both of them, but then they open it and Justin sees that Brian actually did contribute framing, and the frame is like Justin imagined it should be, and he's really happy. And I think he did a similar one for the loft or Britin, too.

Does that sound familiar to someone?

Hey, I've just re-read

besame_bj 's series and I'd love to keep on reading fics or ficlets in which Justin's relation to Gus is highlighted, it can be antsy, sweet, ... and all the better if it involves Brian, the cwazy lesbians or a very stupid/pathetic Mickey (= Michael)!

I've been searching for a good 'in character' fic for a week now and I'm suffering from QAF-FanFictionWithdrawelSyndrome. I start reading fics and then conclude that they're too angsty (I can do angst, but not chapters and chapters long, I want my boys together and in love) or too OOC.

I've read them all, I guess but still I'd like to see if you can give me some recs that I might have overlooked.

Fic requirements:

- IN CHARACTER (one 'baby' from Brian and I'm gone)

- The boys must be together, breakups are fine but still, they have to end up together and I like to read about them together as well.

- Long fics are nice. (since it will keep me off the fanfictionstreets for a few days ;-) )

I think I've read the 'obvious' good ones like xie's, janet's, bdeviled's, chering/fansee's, etc. So I'm looking for the not-so-wellknown-but-really-well-written ones.

Of perhaps you know a way to find really good ones without having to read a lot of crap first (and I mean that in the most respectful way possible of course ;-) ).

Hi, does anyone remember a fic where Ted and Blake moved into a new house or bigger condo or something, and Justin made them a painting for the house warming that he sent ahead to Brian, and Brian had it framed, surprising Justin and making it really from both of them?

And while I'm here, does anyone know of the top of their head in which part/chapter of vamphile's Keeper series Justin had the brain surgery?

I just read a fabulous fic from Brian's bed's POV and it reminded me I want a folder on my hard drive with all such POV fics. So, I need help remembering all the ones I've read (with links, if you have them).

I remember a few: Vic's bathrobe, Brian's ugly flannel shirt, the loft door, a spatula? Are these Sev's? There're probably ten or so that've been written over the years. What ones do you remember?

ETA: Several links in the comments. I'm still looking for loft door! fic, though, if anyone remembers it. Or any others that aren't listed below. ;)

Lately, I've been again watching the second half of season one, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any post-season 5 stories involving Ted and Blake. I searched once before but didn't find much. Thanks in advance to anyone that can point me in the right direction.
