Looking for a story where the author has newspaper articles at the beginning of the chapters. I believe some where along the lines of "Extra! extra! Brian Kinnney dating?!" Or similar. The story is about Brian first meeting Justin and I believe he even brings Justin as his date to Thanksgiving. I was sure that it was on qaf-caps site, but can't find it

So the plot goes something like this: Justin was working as a cashier and he was drawing in his freetime when he met Brian, who was impressed by his work and told him to not waste his talent.

I remember Justin mentioning that he already applied for 3 different places one of them is Kinnetik, and when Brian turns to leave he tells him that he should go for Kinnetik because it's the best. Also I remember there was a photoshopped picture that looked like a news article in each chapter and I hope I'm not mixing fics.

I’ve read quite a few Brian and Justin “meet in a different way” stories and, while some of them are well written and start off in an interesting way, almost all those that I’ve read soon devolve into a rehashing of QAF plots and characters. Are there any other good BJ meet-differently stories that remain original, creating new characters, situations and plots, without relying heavily on the same-old canon events (e.g. cancer, Babylon bombing, Stockwell), and without losing the essential nature/personalities of Brian and Justin?

Okay, so I posted about this just the other day, but my thread was over run with talk about f-locking your journal and whatnot.

So, again, I am asking for any stories where Justin gets disowned/neglected by the gang. I'd rather it be the whole gang (Debbie, Vic, Michael, Ted, etc) and not his family (Jennifer, Craig, etc). Anything that in the end, they realized what they are doing and try to fix it.

Second, I am wondering, are there any stories that Brian and Justin become boyfriends right after their first night together? I know I've read one before, but I am wondering if there are any others. One-shots are fine, but longer works would be so much better.

Please, only give me complete stories and nothing that is a work-in-progress. Thanks.

An AU - I'm pretty sure Justin's working (nights) at a grocery store. Brian comes in and sees some of his sketches and suggests he should be doing more than just working on a check out. And says Kinnetic is the best and he should apply there.
Justin gets and internship there but Brian and Justin have already started building a relationship together. At some point I remember Brian thinking it was going to be like Kip all over again - but Justin offers not to take the job. Blar blar blar - they live happily ever after.

I'd be forever thankful :)
