I read a fic a while ago and from what I remember Justin and Brian are at the loft and Mel shows up with Gus and JR in tow. Her and Linds were having issues or Linds had a break down, I think. When Brian and Justin go down to get the kids from the car, Jus sees twin babies in the back and asks Gus about them. He finds out that they're his. Ring a bell anyone? help XD

I read a fic where Mel/Linds are really busy post-JR to the point where they sort of shun Gus without realizing it. At one point, Gus returns home from a friend's house and Mel doesn't hear him (I think she was doing paperwork or something). Lindsay comes home later and they decide to take some time for themselves since they were so busy lately. JR was maybe with Michael or something. They left, both not realizing Gus was upstairs in his room. Gus woke up in a dark house, completely alone, and he calls Brian, terrified. Brian goes over, gets a neighbor to open the girls' door with an emergency key and "rescues" Gus. I think child services were there, and Brian had a lawyer involved...

I know there's another one where everyone ignores Gus, including Deb, Michael and the rest of the gang, in favor of JR to the point where Gus sat outside on the curb because JR was being fawned over and no one paid him any attention at his own birthday party. Brian and Justin found him outside and Brian "kidnapped" him back to his loft. I'm not sure if this is the same fic or a different one.

If anyone know which fic(s) these plots belong to, could you let me know? Thank you so much!!

I'm looking for a story where Brian sues for custody of Gus because after JR's birth they neglect him. Everyone is gushing over Michael's daughter that Gus gets forgotten. Once Brian finds him alone on the sidewalk at his own birthday party. Another part has Mel actually forgetting that Gus returned from a friends and lets him in the house alone overnight. Gus calls Brian on the phone.

Hi guys, I am reading "Great and Unfortunate Things," The story where at the beginning Mel and Linds are in a car accident with the kids and Mel dies and Lindsey becomes paralyzed. I read a story a long time ago, very similar beginning where the girls were in an accident but in that one they both died. Justin was there as soon as he heard and then moved back home with Brian to Britin to help raise Gus and I think even JR. It was a brilliant story and would love to read it again. I need a good cry right now and that one always got me to shed a few tears.

One has been found in the comments but I am not sure if that is the one I was thinking of. it was long and beautifully written. I have combed the Dead!Lesbians tag and didn't seem to find it. All I can really remember is that the story was long, so long that Gus grew up by several years I believe. They were living in Britin, Justin was still painting, they kept the loft, hmm, I don't know. I might be mixing several stories as well.

EDIT: One story found, It could be the story i was looking for, i'm not sure but it was an amazing read anyway. Thanks guys and gals! Have A Gay Day!

Justin and Brian are together and have Gus. Justin has a job (maybe with Brian) and gets Ethan as a client but hides it from Brian. Ethan has Justin over for a thank you dinner which is drugged. He takes compromising pictures of Justin and sends them to Brian who then kicks Justin out. It all is eventually straightened out though.

I was reading an article today about John Paulk, who for several years was the spokesperson for many Christian groups as "proof" of the success of gay-conversion therapy. Mr. Paulk has since become "EX-ex-gay," and is living openly and happily as a gay man and has recanted any and all statements, quotes or articles etc, where he professed to be "cured" of homosexuality.

It got me wondering... are there any fics out there where the main premise is Justin in gay-conversion therapy? I seem to remember a few scenes but, I don't think they were the main focus of the story, although I could be wrong.

One scene in my foggy memory had Justin being drugged and forced to have sex with a female nurse... maybe while strapped to a table? I think he was also afraid to eat the food because he thought it was drugged????

Hi everyone,

I read this story a long time ago, and can only remember one scene. I've searched through the Gus tags, but can't find anything. Hopefully someone here will remember the story.

What I remember is that Justin and Brian are together (though I'm not sure if it's from the start, or just later on in the story). I'm not sure if Gus is living with them, or just lives with his mothers. Gus is searching for prospective schools to attend, but it comes down to St. James being the best school around. At first everyone is upset, and he says he won't go. But then more information comes out, and it turns out that after Justin left, the school completely changed. There is an LGBT group in the school, and the bullying policies are way stricter; and I think the school even has some sort of mention about Justin in there. At the end of the day, it is decided that Gus will in fact go to St. James.

I think it was a long story, and it might have been hosted in a website that had a sort of pinkish background ... but I might be confusing this. I'm not entirely sure if I even finished reading the story, to be honest.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

In the fic I'm looking for Justin and Daphne open a bookstore. I believe it was called "the treehouse", but I'm not sure. Gus spends a lot of time there.
Can't remember anymore about the story. I hope it sounds familiar to someone. I would love to read it again.

I am looking for a story where Mel/Lindz and Gus were in a car accident. They are killed and Gus survived. Justin has been a father figure to Gus his whole life and they leave Justin as his guardian. Brian does not have a part in Gus raising but returns and wants to raise Gus with Justin. I remember a scene where Brian tells justin that he will remove the girls Christmas tree and presents due to the accident happening before Christmas. Justin refuses to take Christmas away from Gus. Also, remember a scene where Brian starts caring for Justin and Gus tells him how to take him out on a date. I checked the Dead lesbian tag and could not find it.

Justin and Brian are back together. Justin is working on an account promoting Ethan's CD. Ethan drugs Justin, takes suggestive pictures and sends them to Brian. Brian throws Justin out but then notices that Justin isn't "responding" to Ethan in any of the pictures.

Okay after hours of searching I have given up and I'm asking for help. I am trying to find a fic I read once where Brian is a Mob leader raising gus on his own and Justin is a poor artist. Brian saves Justin from being attacked and takes him under his wing. They fall in love but Michael (gang leader of a rival gang) kidnaps Justin and Rapes him. Justin escapes and Brian wants revenge. Later the FBI go after brian because of his Mob business and Justin tries to save him. It's historical AU in the 1920ish. Ring any bells?

I was reading a fic and it reminded me of a couple of other fics I knew I had read, but couldn't remember which they were.

They may both be by Moonshadow Woman - I know the 2nd fic is.

1) Brian gets angry at the gang and stops going to the Liberty Diner, result is Debbie's tips go down appreciably. This is an anti-Michael fic - he is made to look like an idiot. He doesn't put 2 + 2 together on the fact that Brian not going to the diner is the reason Debbie's tips are down.

2) I'm thinking that it is a fic where Justin is missing and Brian is the only person who seems aware of it, and he goes and tracks down Brian and rescues him. Or it could be the opposite. I know I may be getting it confused with another fic that MoonShadow Woman wrote (where evil!Craig has Justin kidnapped to send him to some place that will scare him straight/reprogram him to straight) But I believe that this is a different fic. I think that everyone in the gang write off Brian's disappearance as him being irresponsible.
