Exceptional B/J stories

I'm new to this fandom and would like some people to point the way to some exceptional fics with Brian and Justin as centrals in the following areas. I'm sure I'm not the only one who would love personal top lists of fics. What I'm looking for is great plot, sex, characterization. All around top-notch writing.

Could people suggest one fic that's a stand alone and one longer work that sticks close to original characters?

Next would be AU.

After the End (http://qafvault.com/514.htm) by [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] is one of my favorite fics in the fandom. It's a really angsty, but totally in character future fic where Justin comes home a few years in the future for a visit.

Hey, nice to see you here too. I'm putting this whole post on my memories so that I can keep reading.

On my writing in this fandom, that's partly why I'm reading so much-- because I want to read what's out there and how writer approach their characterizations. I'm seeing a lot of first person POV switching here, which is unusual. I've already read a couple mentioned here, but most I haven't. Thanks for another great rec.
