I spoke with irishka1205 the other day, whose fic is posted at one of the Geocities sites under the name Irina. She informed me that she is in the process of moving her fic to faniction.net, and here:

Justin sings "On My Own" to his class

Basically, I recall a few key things such as it is Brain/Justin, Justin sings "On My Own" from Les Miserables, and as he sings it to his class, Brain (for some unknown reason) knows about it and sees him perform it for his class. Oh, and he got this song by chance, I think. I know the teacher knew it was a song for a girl and that Justin spent time practicing it. So it's not like this was a teeny tidbit in a story. Truly that's all I remember, sadly. This fic search has been bugging me and I know it exists...it's not some awesome plot bunny running rampid in my mind.
Before my computer crashed I had it on my favorites list, can anyone help me?!?!?!

2nd post in one month.  I think it's the 3rd post EVER....

Anyway, did Bine ever finish K-9, where Brian was... ahem.... a dog?  (I think she was the author.)   It was oddly appealing.  And normally, I'm much more... canon (have I "ahem-ed" yet?)  Honest, I am.  Believe it or not. 

Any feedback?  I think she may also go by cleverdevil.  "Kiss Me Alright" fame, I believe.  But don't quote me on that.  I'm not sure.

Correction and impending edit of a previous post

A couple of days ago, one of the members asked to pimp an upcoming cross-fandom fest. After speaking with court1426, I agreed to copy her post into a post here.

Now, understand that this is not a diss on the lovely , not at all. She merely asked to call attention to a writing fest. Things like this equal new fic for us, so I say it's a good thing.

Here is the original post.

I was contacted by the mod of that comm this morning. She informed me that it seemed as if commenters that went to the comm site to nominate QAF were "ballot stuffing", and possibly had no intention on writing for other fandoms. I did mention to her that that was an assumption on her part, that we have a lot of writers here that write not only for QAF, but other fandoms as well. The issue is this, as laid out by the mod: There were to be five fandom nominations per participant, not just one. Also, the participants would then be matched to two fandoms. You can go here to read the fest rules.

As a result of this, only Queer As Folk challenges and/or fests will be mentioned here from now on.

Justin and Brian have a child together, but Justin is with Ethan

Ok, I really should know the name of this fic and its author, but I seem to be drawing a blank. Brian and Justin have a child together, but Justin is with Ethan. Brian hasn't heard from Justin in a few days, gets concerned and goes to Ethan/Justin's place. He ends up taking his child with him from the apartment. Mean while, Ethan has Justin tied to the bed in the bedroom. This is a very anti-Ethan fic. Does anyone remember this fic?

Hi everyone.
Im looking for two fics. The first one has Justin meeting and sleeping with Brandon in LA. Brandon is an actor who is sort of stalkerish and comes to Pittsburgh after Justin.
The second is about Justin's time in LA. Brian has some friends there who he asks to look after Justin. The friend there has a son who has a disability. The only thing i can remember is that Brian sent clothes catologues to the little boy. The kid loved him and was a label queen like him too. lol.

someone asked in july about plane crash fics, and someone commented with the description of a fic (but they didn't remember the author, title or where they read it):

It's a 9-11 fic. Brian missed his flight in Boston which is the one that crashed in PA and got another one which diverted somewhere so he buys a car and drives to the Pitts. Everyone's at Debbie's waiting for news. I'm sure it on the Moonshadow Tribe, but don't remember who wrote it.
