I'm looking for some brian/justin comfort food - recs for fics that make you feel good.

The kind of fics when you've had a bad day you can read and they make you warm and happy like a big bowl of mac and cheese. But the nice thing about comfort food fics is that there are no calories and you don't have regrets in the morning when you put on your jeans.

I love these. Anything by lennongirl always makes me feel warm and fuzzy and the same with burnitbackwards and darksylvia. rhiannonhero's Forever Changes Everything (http://www.rhiannonhero.net/rhi/QueerAsFolk/foreverchangeseverthing.htm) is one of my favorites ... and Omelet. Even though it's not Christmas bigboobedcanuck's Christmas story (http://bigboobedcanuck.livejournal.com/188686.html) collaboration is fantastic too.

Miracle on Tremont Street (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/Challenge/CC/11.htm) by Wren always makes me feel warm and fuzzy--perhaps because it's based on the warm and fuzzy Miracle on 34th Street. But don't let its being a holdiday fic scare you away; this is definitely one you can read year round.

And if you don't mind a self-rec: Gus's Family Portrait (http://mysid.livejournal.com/85952.html). It's just a fluffy little one-shot about Gus in his new school in Canada.

Riz' twins!verse on ATP. OOC and I adore it.

I had to think about this one for a while. A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned. So here a couple for you that are very worthwhile.


The 56th Most Common Name (http://sakesushimaki.livejournal.com/tag/qaf+fic:+%22the+56th+most+common+name%22) by sakesushimaki AU - Brian meets Justin in Boston but doesn't even know his name. There are some very good comic moments in this. It's recently completed and I think she did a great job with the story.


No More Ugly Naked Guy (http://darksylvia.livejournal.com/434321.html) by darksylvia. A Friends/QAF crossover. You need to have seen about one episode of Friends for this to please you. It never fails to make me smile.

My absolute favorite fic is Something More (http://bjfic.net/main/viewstory.php?sid=7899&warning=NC-17) by brandnewloser87. It's a HS fic which I totally LOVE and there is a little bit of angst in it, but there is also some good humor and funny, drunk, teenage Brian making friends with a soccer ball, so....

Night At The Liberty Baths (http://slave-o-spike.livejournal.com/29448.html), by slave_o_spike. Don't drink anything while reading this. Funniest frigging fic ever!

Figs And Leaves (http://www.rhiannonhero.net/rhi/QueerAsFolk/figsandleaves.htm) and Fairy Dust (http://www.rhiannonhero.net/rhi/QueerAsFolk/FairyDust.html) by rhiannonhero. Figs And Leaves is a really sweet story featuring stoned!Jennifer and appalled!Justin. Fairy Dust is a look at a fairy gathering featuring the gang. And Justin in a dress. lol Way too funny.

There are other, more serious stories, way too many to count, but I thought I'd share some one shots with humor for you.
