B or J with others.. but happy ending?

Good evening, I have a nasty cold and am hoping for some lengthy, stay-home-sick fics.

I recently read  Twenty-Ten by Morpheus http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewstory.php?sid=1424&warning=NC-17 ( in case you want to read it - its brilliant) and also That Which Does Not Destroy Us Makes Us Stronger by Hephaistion-Lo http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewstory.php?sid=5847&warning=NC-17  (also brilliant) and loved the angsty B/other and J/other elements.

So I am searching for similar fics: angsty, one of them with other (not Mikey please!), but a happy ending? I liked that in both of the fics I read, it took time and hard work to get to a happy ending... Any ideas? I've been checking through the memories here, but was hoping someone had some favorites they could please recommend...

Thanks in advance,
Cata

Found! Lots of good ideas, links in comments! Thank you!

Do you have an aversion to Mpreg stories? This one has them I think started outtogether, than apart and than together at the end. "First come Love, then comes Marriage, then comes." (http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewstory.php?sid=8168) Nothing Squick btw.

Anything by "Rizabeau" (http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewuser.php?uid=348) too.

My absolute favorite stories of Brian/Other are by the amazing Brian Hennessey. They are truly fabulous and they are also long (basically novel-length). The first is "Swamp Fever" and the sequel is "Burn." You can find them both here: http://www.brians-fiction.com/ I know you will fall in love with Boyd.

He also wrote a follow-up incorporating characters from another story that he just posted at Christmas, called "If the Fates Allow." That story is located on his LJ site here: http://big-brian-o.livejournal.com/#asset-big_brian_o-123882

All his stories are wonderful, and he is currently working on a very unusual vampire story (on his LJ with his other recent work -- read everything, he's that good!).

Another good Brian/Other series can be found on the Moonshadow Tribe site. The author is Arwensong, and the series to start with is "Better Friends and Lovers." She has some other stories (including a Christmas story in progress) in this universe as well. They are here: http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/SFF12.htm

Happy reading! I hope you like these. I have actually read Brian's stories 4-5 times each.

The story by Arwensong is good but unless I'm mistaken(which is entirely possible) B/J dont get back together in the end. So i guess that wouldn't qualify as a happy ending :(

Okay, sorry I misunderstood a little -- but here is a good one that you might like by Mouse, called "Endings and Beginnings". Really long and starts angsty but is all about the love!

Here are some other stories you might enjoy by Randall Morgan. All his work is great! Start with "Blue Lights", then "Deconstructing Brian" followed by "Letters Home" and then "Reconstructing Brian". I just finished rereading all of them, and they have a fair amount of angst -- a villain (!!!) and a happy ending! They are here: http://www.randalls-fiction.com/stories.php

Okay, time for bed. I hope you're feeling better soon and happy reading. BTW, if you don't want to read non B/J stories at all, I would still recommend Brian Hennessey's work but read the stories on his LJ. They really are very good.

Oh, I almost forgot another fic called "Homecoming" by lady_jane, it's B/Other, post-513 and pretty angsty.
