Misfit Justin (or misfit Brian)

Hello,
I've recently read mohawking's Unleashed, and its fantabulous concept (and quite a good execution for most part) left me craving for more fics in which Justin is a misfit, an outcast, isolated from the society and civilization, unable to communicate properly or unaware of basic social dynamics (for example, having been brought up in isolation), or forced outside of society by other circumstances (serial killer? alien? yeti? Loch Ness monster? dinosaur? err...). I don't mean stories where he's just shy, defiant or emo, or kidnapped by Ethan (or Mikey), or used by an evil pimp. Certainly, a perfect course of action would be if he was brought back to civilization by the healing power of love (*cough* and anal penetration), but it's not obligatory. I am very interested in this kind of POV, especially if it's well written, heh.

Anywho, do you know any other fics with a similar concept? It can be a misfit Brian, too, actually, but I'm kind of leery of a barbarian!Brian for some reason O_o Of course, if it's good, bring it on anyway.

hum. I'm looking for something where he's literally unable to live in society. For example, like he was brought up in wilderness, in a closed basement, was an alien etc, etc. Where he has no understanding of basic human interaction or where his interaction with other people is in some way impaired. Basically some of jans_intentions fics fit my bill, at least when it comes to outcast!Brian.

I've been actually eyeing this Mechanical Michelangelo fic from afar, to be honest. Because yes, it's unfinished, sadly. Thanks for the hint on its plot, though. (:

Kiss Me Alright by CleverDevil would be another one. Justin is autistic and stays autistic. He's never going to be able to interact with people the same way that Brian does. I passed Mechanical Michelangelo over on my first go round of QAF fiction. There is quite a bit to it though so I think it's worth while to see how the author fleshed out the characters and what happens to them despite not wrapping it up.

Hah, Kiss Me Alright is one of my favourite fics ever :D And yes, this is exactly the type of 'misfitting' I'm after. And this is also the type of POV execution I'm looking for. Another example of such execution would be Jan's Painting Lessons. Btw, I wish Elyxer re-uploaded KMA with proper characters, instead of those question marks :x Like on Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20070812193522/www.even-deeper.de/Nicole/kma+englisch/entrykissmeEnglish.htm), which has its dramaqueen moments when it refuses to work.

I might get desperate enough to read unfinished fics, soon. MM will be one of them. Well, it's pretty long, maybe I'll get bored and won't suffer from the unfinishedness, hah.

I got permission to repost her story from her website, so I reposted it exactly as she had it posted. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten permission from her to change anything and even if I did have her permission, I don't have the time to rewrite all that HTML coding...I can't even keep up with my own website these days. If you know someone who is willing to do the work, I'll ask her if I can have the errors fixed.

I'm quite sure that the fic stored on Wayback Machine (http://web.archive.org/web/20070812193522/www.even-deeper.de/Nicole/kma+englisch/entrykissmeEnglish.htm) is the same files that you have on your site, only with different coding. And, the links and images would have to be changed, probably. But other than that, you probably could save/upload them as they are (:

I'll see if I can find someone who has the time to do it. Unfortunately, I don't. I haven't even loaded my last fic on my site and I'm working on giving my site a facelift along with every thing else. Thanks for the link, I'll talk to Nikki and see what I can figure out.
