Other characters finding out Brian secretly has a heart

Hi!  So basically I'm a ridiculous Brian fangirl, and re-watching the series recently it hit me how many times there are when Brian does something generous or selfless or heartbreakingly self-flagellating and nobody ever finds out.  Or at least very few people find out. 

So I'd really appreciate any stories you guys can recommend where another character finds out:

-Brian went to the hospital every night Justin was there
-Brian wore that bloody scarf around his neck for over 2 months
-Brian talked to a shrink after the bashing to try to help Justin
-Brian paid Justin's tuition even after they broke up
-Brian almost killed himself on his 30th birthday
-Why Brian pushed Michael away during his 30th birthday party
-Why Brian hit Michael in 3x01
-Any other things like that that I can't think of right now, but I know there are more.

There's one fic in particular that I remember reading, where Justin finds out a lot of things that Brian did and never told him about.  I think it took place post 5x10, I know they were at the hospital at the beginning, but I can't remember if it was after the bombing or if it was for something else post canon...anyway, Justin sees Brian talking to an orderly or physical therapist or someone that he knew from after the bashing and talks to him after Brian leaves and finds out about his post-bashing nightly vigil.  It was the beginning of a rather long chaptered fic  I believe, though I can't remember many other specifics.  Ring any bells for anyone? That would explain it, thanks! I did notice that the tags here are very extensive and...interestingly titled. In fact I'm fairly sure it's the first time I've ever come across the word 'hosebeast' in a tag before, lol. I imagine it will give me lots to peruse over the next few weeks.

LOL! I take credit (responsibility?) for inventing that Lindsay tag. There are at least 2 or 3 fics for which I could think of no more appropriate description.

I wrote one that is a bit like the one you described. Justin finds out about all sorts of things about Brian like the scarfing thing and visiting him at the hospital. It's called Catch Me When I Fall and it's easy to find in the memories section of my livejournal under Fic if you want to read it :)

Anyone who wanted to read Pieces of the Puzzle purely for what the OP was requesting (Brian has a heart secrets coming out) could just read the first four chapters, and it would be like a nice standalone. Or possibly through Ch. 7, because the last section of chapter seven has a B/J Truth or Dare game that reveals some more. After that, it becomes a rape fic (starting Ch. 9), and after that, a BDSM fic.
