There was a Christmas (or Thanksgiving?) challenge early on, which had stories including the following:

1. (I think this was one of the stories) Vic is dead and hangs around Brian's loft.

2. Brian and Michael are stuck in the cooler at a grocery store after the store closes.

3. Brian and Justin's grocery list "On The Fridge."

4. And a whole bunch of other stories.

YOU HAVEN'T? YOU ARE IN FOR A TREAT!

They are all pretty darn good written by the best authors this fandom's had.

Considering that I've been reading in this fandom for over 3 years now, it is always a treat to find new stories from author that I enjoy reading.

I'm re-reading Crisis right now by [livejournal.com profile] jane2005 Thank you for reminding me about that story btw.

In that case, have you seen my nostalgia list? I have people listed there from when I first started reading QaF fic in '03.

#1 (http://amelialourdes.livejournal.com/321795.html)
#2 (http://amelialourdes.livejournal.com/347122.html)

Needs some updating now that some people and websites are disappearing though. You're welcome! That's definitely one of my favorites.

Added to my memories, I will go through it more thoroughly after I read some of the other stuff on my list. From a brief glance I recognized quite a few that I have read, but there are a few I have not. I can't wait to see what you have on there that I haven't read yet.

Hello, Morpheus! Nice to see you here. Are you getting an itchy writing hand, by any chance? You know everyone would be more than thrilled to read a new fic from you. ;)

In case your nostalgia continues, here (http://community.livejournal.com/getithere/1184811.html) are a bunch of the old challenges, and a couple newer ones, too.

For newer readers, you must check these fics out. And check out the other challenges and fic comms listed on the Sidebar, too.

In a comment to the post I linked below, you mentioned you had other challenges that should be added to that post. If you remember what they are, I'd love to add them. Thanks!

I'll be taking a look at them to see what hasn't been added yet and send you some links if I have them. I noticed there are a couple of the older ones missing. Hope I can find those!

YAY! for pointing out some new fic. I know you'll find lots to occupy your reading time for awhile. There are many fandom favorites in these challenges. Ramble around in the Sidebar Challenge links, too.

I dig around and see if I can find the page that lists the actual authors of the fics - because there are some well known ones, but the way back machine page doesn't have the page where the authors are listed with the fics.

I was looking for something else for tagging and ran across this fic, How to Be Dead (http://mojokid.livejournal.com/40558.html), by [livejournal.com profile] mojokid. I've read a couple over the years where Vic's a ghost and visits Brian, so I don't know if this is the one you were thinking of, or not. She's such a good writer, it's worth the read, regardless.
