All I remember is that Brian and Justin are on a vacation, I think at a beach house in California borrowed from a client of Brian's, and the night after they get there a storm blows in, and the house loses power, and a tree falls on one wing, and rain pours in and fills the living room, and Brian had brought all these Christmas present for Justin, and he wades into the water to save them, and then they're stuck at this borrowed beach house with no power for a couple days because of all the downed trees in the area, and when they finally get out of there, they go to a hotel where Justin opens the presents, which are numbered (I don't remember why... maybe I'm mixing together two stories in my head?), and it's really shmoopy but the presents are things like potholders and a teapot, things for a life they'll have together or something...?

Justin Grandparents fics

I'm looking for a specific fic and some recs if you've got them and I've already checked the tags and can't find anything for this. I like reading about fics that involve Justin and Brian seeing Justin's extended family, like his grandparents and so I was hoping someone woud have some reccomendations.
Specifically there was one fic I read a few months ago that I really liked and now I can't find it, its a christmas fic. Justin's supposed to go to Colorado I think with his mom to spend Christmas with the family and both sides of his family are going to be there. But when he speaks to one of his aunts on the phone she basically tells him not to come because they're gonna try and get his parents back together and he would make things difficult. I think it's supposed to be Season 1 christmas because he still blames himself for his parents splitting up. In the end his grandmother, his nice aunt (not the one who told him to stay home) and her family, and his mom fly back to pittsburgh because things suck in Colorado. There's also part of the story where he's trying to spend time with Brian and he decorates the loft. And he gets a train for the tree, and he always remembers how his grandpa gave the antique train he loved to his cousin who hates the train, basically his cousins an ass. This community is absolutely wonderful, which is why I ask for your assistance once more. I'm looking for a story in which Brian and Justin are invited to Jennifer's house for dinner (Thanksgiving, maybe?) and her family, most of whom are pretty conservative, are there. They give the boys a hard time and Justin's grandmother is uptight about the whole thing. At one point, Justin's hand begins to cramp and Brian immediately seizes and massages it. I think this doesn't go unnoticed, though, and the grandmother is finally able to see how much the boys really love each other.

Another amnesia fic

Justin has been living elsewhere, but he and his friends return to the Pitts. Craig seriously injures the son by pushing him down the steps. Don't know if this is enough info.

I'm looking for stories that involve Justin's side of the family. Something along the lines of Brian and Justin being together and having to spend time with Justin's / Jennifer's side of the family.
For example, I recently re-read the stories "Family Festivities" by etharei and "Jingle All The Way" by Rizabeau. Any stories along those lines would be wonderful.
