I had a link saved on my pc for the story "Ice Storm" on the Moon Shadow Tribe website, but it doesn't work anymore so I was wondering if someone had a working link to the story! Thanks!

EDIT: Link in the comments!

it's still there under Bailey's name in her Series section, here (http://www.mags-nificent.com/MSW/Bailey.htm).

You probably just can't see it because of the rainbow lettering. Almost that whole site is hard as hell to read because of the font and background colors people choose, which baffles the fuck out of me. Not every author, but most, pick hideous colors that are nearly unreadable. Queer Eyes is the same way, that awful dark brown background and that light Arial font.

I use Firefox as my browser and as soon as I enter the Tribe or Queer Eyes (or any other blinding sites), I click View, Page Style, No Style on my browser menu bar so that all pages show up with a legible white background and black text. /OT rant

I know! Sometimes I wonder if it's just the way my computer sees colors. And then other times I think it's just the way my *eyes* see colors... lol

Also, rant FTW! Although I can read Queer Eyes just fine... but the black pages, the obnoxiously brightly-colored ones, the bleeding red text, the pages with tiled backgrounds, the sparkles and animation-everywhere sites? :::shudder::: Thank everything holy for Firefox. :)

You do notice the bigass serif font I have on this comm, right? Strictly to indulge my eyes. ;D

I think if you stare at a webpage and then look away and you can still read it on the blank wall, like that optical illusion where you stare at some pattern and then look away and you see Jesus, well, that's just too much webpage color! lol

Though I'm assuming most people can read various LJ and web pages easier than I can. It was a huge lifesaver for me when I discovered the "view everything in your own style" option on LJ. That one feature alone is worth $20/year to me. And Firefox is the best. Not only the page style view, but the control+ to embiggen. Love that, too.

I wanted them to win not just for NOLA, but because of their player who's outspoken for marriage equality and gay rights and doesn't think he should be praised for saying so.

Who? Hadn't heard that. But still, that's HUGE from a football player. Sports are the last frontier in terms of homophobia, and if more of them step up and say something, whether it be public or private, the closer we get to full acceptance. And yeah, I know not everyone is gonna be on board with that, but if you can convince one person in three that teh gay is not a threat, maybe the second of the three will at least think about it.

/soapbox

On to the porn!

That's so awesome! Great article! And I liked how he didn't make a big deal, but was still so staunch in his beliefs. His upbringing would make him more tolerant, I would think, being adopted, having parents of different races. Nice to see him stand up for another player. Even Tebow, who will not feel the love from a lot of people for that commercial. And I totally got Fujita's point about how focusing on family is important without endorsing Focus On The Family. Very subtle, very well said.

OMG! I can't believe it's that easy to get rid of those godawful backgrounds some of those authors use! Many blessings upon you and it's so damn simple! *bows at your feet*

You are a genius. I had no idea I could do that!! I don't mind Queer Eyes, but the Tribe... yeah. Some of those backgrounds are ridiculous. Why?!!? :P Thanks so much for the tip!! :D

Thank you so much for that browser tip! Sometimes, after spending too much time reading a page (particularly on MST) my eyes really bother me and take awhile to adjust to a regular page.

I have IE but I notice I have the same things under View, I must see if it works as well, my poor old eyes have so much trouble with all those colours. Thank you for this.
