Fics - anti-depressants?

Hello,
I'm sad. Really really sad. (damn you, yaoi-mangas..:(() So, in order to get myself out of this state I ask for your help...

I'd like you to recommend me Brian/Justin fics that make you feel overwhelming happiness after reading them...fics that are well-written, with Brian and Justin being in character, it can be AU, but not taken to extremes, maybe even angsty, and filled with B/J love...:)

However, these days even small things that I didn't care much about get me even more depressed. For example, reunion fics, where B/J get back together after 1, 5, 7, 10 years...or, B/Other, J/Other fics with B/J in the end, where Brian or Justin care about these "others"... or Brian telling Justin (or vice versa) "I love you and all that stuff, but I can't give up tricking for you, because it's just so damn important to me (even more important than being with you), because it's a part of me"...

Yeah, that's a lot of requirements. :) Nevertheless, I'm sure you can recommend lots of fabulous B/J fics that could put me out of my misery :)

I'd like to recommend Choices (http://england13.livejournal.com/tag/choices) by england13. It's an almost completed WIP but really it only needs to have the loose ends wrapped up. It made me very, very happy when I read it. I think it will do the trick for you nicely.


That Happy Feeling (http://qaf-fic.com/atp/viewstory.php?sid=8519&warning=NC-17) by Rizabeau is another one guaranteed to put me back into my happy place.

It's really hard to rec things like this, especially when someone asked for it yesterday. First off, I have no idea what you've read. Second, my idea of well-written isn't anywhere near close to what other people think is well-written. I would say read the authors at Queer Eyes, those fics were pretty much hand-picked as being the best in fandom.

Hi, I read one of your fics that I kinda stumbled upon by accident but loved and I can't find it, it goes something like that : Justin is coming from NY early and Brian has moved in to britin without telling him, something about how Justin spoiled the surprise and brian trying to cover up for it and of course Justin figures it out in the end.

Well, I've been enjoying Qaf-fanfiction for 4 years, and I think I've read pretty much everything (including each and every fic from Queer Eyes. Yes, they're amazing. :)) However, re-reading stories that have always improved my mood didn't help much, so, I figured, why not ask other people for the stories that leave them happy and content...
You're right, everyone has their own opinion about what a well-written story implies. In this case, I meant 'well-written' in it's technical sense, i.e. not too much grammar mistakes and plot holes, no OOC, and it just should be understandable. :)

Hm...I thought you didn't want any OOC's or AU's? This sounds strangely like Brian in character to me. Just saying. :)

I'm going to go ahead and rec _mournthewiked's That Darn Gus Series. It's about Gus (hence the title) when he's a little older and it's a bit AU in that Brian is in his mid-30's when Gus is in his late teens, so Brian had Gus earlier.

I'm usually not into Gus-centered stuff (though it's technically a B/J fic), but I'm reccing it because reading this just makes me really happy for some reason, and it may have the same effect on you. The B/J interactions are very cute and daddy!Brian just makes me giddy. It has a lot about Gus' friends, who in my opinion are pretty awesome. A lot of humor in these as well.

It's just a bunch of standalones that kind of go together, so you don't really HAVE to read them in any particular order for the most part...

Hmm...Yeah, probably, it is something Brian would say...However, I believe, it wouldn't be OOC if he gave up tricking... In my opinion, even though sex is a part (and a big one ^_^) of Brian, tricking isn't.

I read extra story Boku no Hatsukoi ni Tsuite (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/croquis/v01/c005/) (it has 2 parts) from Takanaga Hinako's manga "Croquis"...so sad...:(
