Randy & Fab on a date?

I'm almost positive that I watched somewhere in a commentary that Randy and Fabrizio (Ethan) went on an actual date to get a feel for the Justin/Ethan arc. Does anyone know where I can find this piece of knowledge?

Ugh. I KNOW I've heard this before. It was a video, I think. On the DVDs? I have no idea. BUT, someone who worked with QaF (and I can't remember who, but for some weird reason I'm leaning towards Hal O.o) said, kind of in passing "And Randy and Fab actually went on a date." I BELIEVE it was talking about how it was better that Randy and Gale had never actually talked or anything before their first ever sex scene, because Justin and Brian had just met, but that it was different with the Justin/Ethan arc. I KNOW I'VE HEARD THIS INFORMATION BEFORE. God. Now if I could just remember where... *brain explodes*
