Randy & Fab on a date?

I'm almost positive that I watched somewhere in a commentary that Randy and Fabrizio (Ethan) went on an actual date to get a feel for the Justin/Ethan arc. Does anyone know where I can find this piece of knowledge?

I can't say I have ever read that.

But I do recall that Randy said at the Paris L Word/QAF Con that he was at Fab's Audition when he Auditioned for Ethan Obviously

I also recall hearing that somewhere. On the DVDs, maybe? Iono. But I do recall the information. :P Check the extras on the S2 & S3 DVDs. I don't have them, or I would. :(

Also: maybe one of the commentaries? Or something. I KNOW I've heard this before. Seriously. This is going to drive me NUTS now. Thanks. lol.

I've been googling my butt off and tried to find something about this "date" and can't so I'm thinking it's in a video. Hope that helps... a little!

Interesting ... but they're unlikely to have gone out on a real date (Fabrizio Filippo is married to a woman, isn't he?). I've never heard this date before (not that I'm a QAF expert, as I've only been around for less than a year).

I've been looking around and I can't find anything about this, but I swear I remember something like what you're talking about. I'm thinking it might be in an RPS I read, so I'm reading through all the ones I have bookmarked to try to find it for you... a real hardship, really. lol

Anyway, could you have possibly read that in an RPS and not in commentary? I vaguely remember Gale getting jealous about the date when he finds out.

Anyway, I appreciate all your replies and opinions, but I'm getting way too many lj emails on this topic, so from this point forward I would appreciate it if you only comment if you have something to say directly related to the initial question.
