Dear
getithere,
Well, it's getting late on a Saturday night and once again, I'm bored. I heard about old fic challenges but don't have links. Can you help a girl out, please?
Signed,
Bored at Home
Dear Bored at Home,
You wrote at *just* the right time. As it happens, I was just looking through my old bookmarks and I have the links you're looking for.
The Grocery Challenge. Start with this fandom classic, Busy Week on the Fridge.
Until next Saturday night, happy reading!
Love,
getithere

Date: 2009-07-19 07:02 am (UTC)There are so many new folks around who get caught up in all the current things, that I don't think they've looked back to find the old stuff. That's why I love it when you pimp your rec lists.
I remember making a comment about some fic soon after I got to fandom and Paddies responding with a "omg, you've never read that before?" which started several recs coming my way and she said how much she envied all the fab fic I was about to read for the first time. I really know what she means now! (Not that reading them for the 1029384098 time isn't good, too, but there's just nothing like the first read.)
