zahar's fic - damn! I can't remember the name now
but it was total crack - they don't even meet for the first 6 chapters
zahar is a middle eastern studies student in the netherlands - the research was really good.
Justin's father is a merchant, and he sends his son on one of his merchant ships to make a man out of him and get him working in the family business and the ship is captured by pirates and justin is sold into white slavery.
Someone buys Justin for a gift to the king (whatever they are called) of the Ottoman Empire. Lindsay is one of his concubines and hangs out in the harem with mel (Gus is born already) Debbie runs the harem.
I could go on, but now I remember it's in with the other pirate fic.
It's a WIP on bjfic.net - if Irishcalen ever is able to get it back on line.
