I've been looking for a "What if fic". What if Justin had never gotten the review and never gone to NY, instead had married Brian? It's been on my mind for a few days and I'm sure there's a fic like that!
Her 56th Most Popular Name is a lot of fun. Around 2/3 through it is absolutely hysterically funny, not to mention unbelievably hot. Her description of Brian giving Justin a bj is the best description I have ever read.
I've read two fics from authors who have left the fandom and I'm rabid to find out anything else they may have written, but their work is purged and no one knows them.
On the bright side I've discovered that someone set up a QAF dead (not death!fic) graveyard for fics whose authors have left the fandom and their websites have been canceled/taken down/deleted. The Abernathy Trio is there and so is How I spent my summer 1&2. I don't think that it is wrong for things like this to exist, but after the discussion at the coffeeclub, I am loathe to discuss it there. In fact, after several interactions with hb I am loathe to post much of anything there since I am constantly being told it is the wrong place to pose such questions.

Maybe that would be a good place to post all the stories from geocities before they go down?
I don't know of any fics where Justin never got the review, but I do know of a few where he got the review and still stayed in the Pitts (and married Brian, of course!)
I missed this whole discussion but yes, there are some fics like that. Or, if not actually married, at least moving in together. One I'm enjoying right now is an almost-finished WIP called Choices by england13. I'll keep thinking.
