Unfinished (WIP?) Fics by Violette7 and coming_staying

1. I have seen quite a few unfinished fics by Violette7 that I am very interested in reading. I was wondering if anyone has been in contact with her lately to know if she is still working on and planning to finish most of her stories? Does she have a habit of ending chapters with nail biting cliffhangers or are they pretty much mostly readable without dying for more as is?

2. I read a post on here in 2011 where people have confirmed that "High School Confidential" by coming_staying is unfinished, with chapter 11 being the last posted. Is anyone in contact with coming_staying? It looks like a really good fic but I don't want to start reading it if it ends abruptly or with a cliffhanger or something. Is the author still active somewhere online and is still writing? Or is this fic most likely abandoned?

UPDATE: I sent a message to Violette7 but didn't hear anything back. The fics seem to be abandoned WIP'S. Still looking for information on "High School Confidential" by coming_staying.

Hi. Looking for a fic I read a long time ago.
I don't remember much. Just that Joan was called as a witness in court. I think she was there to speak in Mel's favour, rambling about Brian acting against god's whishes by beeing gay.
Mayby a custody fight about Gus?
I might be mixing up two fics.

I looked all over the custody tag but couldn't find it.
