Joan in court

Hi. Looking for a fic I read a long time ago.
I don't remember much. Just that Joan was called as a witness in court. I think she was there to speak in Mel's favour, rambling about Brian acting against god's whishes by beeing gay.
Mayby a custody fight about Gus?
I might be mixing up two fics.

I looked all over the custody tag but couldn't find it.

This is the one that immediately came to mind. I'm not sure if this is it, but it has Joan testifying against Brian. "The Devil and Brian Kinney' by Arwensong on Moonshadow Tribe. It could be 'Breaking Away' by Galedreamer. This has a scene with Joan testifying in court against Brian.
