With all the discussion about Randall and Brian it reminded me of a Meta I had read from an earlier fanfic writer who for some reason I thought was Randall, but wasn't/isn't. This writer is pre-2005 and so is his website.
The website is black and blue - with a black background I think. There was a lengthy meta about how Gale and Randy weren't faking it when it came to the sex scenes and the person went on to show a series of photographs and compare them to stills from QAF. This is not a fanfic, this is meta.
The man - who I'm pretty sure was actually a man - also wrote fanfic. And for some reason I'm thinking is the author of a fic about Justin and a Rotweiller - which is a hugely controversial. Let's say that if Justin was practicing Animal Husbandry...
Now I've got this stuck in my brain and can't for the life of me remember where I found it.
ETA: It is in fact Paul Plesko and dates back to 2002 - 2003. It turns out, it is in fact a fanfic:
The Look on His Face:

Then there are 2 [explicit] photo galleries talking about the "look" on Brian's face
More details in comments.

Here are the galleries of comparison:

However, for people who want to explore his fic, you really have to poke around using the wayback machine, and the last crawls that actually had working links are from 2003-2004 - which is the new time frame.

I know someone who was going to meet both IRL years ago and after having arrived to the place they were to meet, they received a call saying both couldn't make it. That's my understanding from what I recall of the conversation anyway, it was probably 10 years ago now so details are fuzzy.
