I'm looking for a story I read, I think it was on Midnight Whispers, where Brian gets a secondary cancer, osteosarcoma, in his femur.

I didn't remember it as a WIP as the cancer section was wrapped up. But you're correct, it does appear to be an abandoned WIP.

Yeah, we never learn, what bothers Ted. Cancerwise it ends in a good place, but it could still change. So frustrating to see these aWIPs throughout the fandom!
