Looking for "Making a Scene" by Buckeye5

I really want to read this story,I friended Buckeye5's lj and sent a pm asking for access. But there's a notification that her lj is inactive, so I'm afraid she won't answer me. So if anybody has a copy of this story, please please please send it to jollywhizzbee@mail.ru. Thank you!
Update: Buckeye5 opened access to her story, I'm enjoying it! Thank you Buckeye5:)

When did you sent her a pm? I think she sometimes read her pm's.

The first post on her LJ it says: By reading my locked stories, you agree not to share or distribute them in any form. And "Making a scene" is a locked story.

Sorry. I hope she will read your pm.

I believe she doesn't want her story shared outside her LJ. I talked to her through PMs a short while ago, so I think she still checks them. She might reply and give you access as soon as she reads your message.

Also I don't think the story is going to be finished. There was a lot of flack about that story and where it was going and wankish things happened.

I could be wrong that she is finishing it in secret but it's totally locked down at her LJ. I haven't heard anything about this story in months.

She's still around, she's just not on her LJ. :)

And you can still leave a comment on her "friends only" post : comments are screened. She regulary checks her lj.

Even if you are friended, you can't read the story (happens to me). It's extra special protected.

I was wondering something. I hope you all don't mind me asking this, but why are there a lot op people in this fandom obsessed with locking their stories?
Through the years I've been reading stories in many fandoms and never encountered this level of protectiveness.
Sometimes certain stories are reced so many times so I get the desire to read them, but it can be too much trouble requesting, friending, approving... so I just think "Whatever, there are other good authors out there, I'll read something else."

Just wondering...

I can't speak for everyone who does lock their stories, but I'm pretty sure it is to either A: control wank B: weed out the lurkers or C: to make sure that who is reading fiction is over 18 as most fiction in this fandom is XXX in nature (oh and also because it is homosexual content that is often flamed by homophobic trolls).

I no longer have locked fic besides RPS, which is a personal issue I have with posting it publicly.
At one time I locked my fiction mostly for my f-list's sake as many of them didn't want to see updates of a certain type of fic but wanted them for another so I didn't want their f-lists filled with posts they would ignore and subsequently ignore the ones they may have wanted to read.
Also I did want to be sure that those who were reading my fic were over 18 and did actually comment but rather quickly I came to realize that is pointless because not only do I rarely have time to get back to comments, but if a reader is inspired to comment I don't want to force it, it should come because of my story and to tell how many people are reading I just use a webcounter for each entry.
Oh, I think that maybe it also had something to do with LJ scaring everyone when the started deleting journals for having content that was XXX and not locked down?

Ok. Thank you very much. That was a great answer.

I guess I understand locking RPS, but I always thought that writers want to reach more audience, so locking fics seems counterproductive.

As someone who has been reading the fics for a few years now, I can tell you that at certain times during the writing of a particular story, certain chapters seem to produce a lot of very mean comments.

I have never understood the thinking behind the people who post such mean and vindictive comments, but they've turned off some very good writers.

I really really hope she finishes it. I had never been into BDSM but that story was amazing and even though Brian was with someone else I loved it. I had a thought that maybe there would be a threesome at some point and how hot that would have been :-)

Give her time, she is " lurking" for lack of a better term. Thanks for bringing this story back to my attention. Re reading it now and I love it as much as ever. I love the Brian Aaron dynamic and could see them together in Atlanta for a long time to come. I hope own day Buckeye decides to join us again.

Making a Scene is a wonderful story and I feel very lucky for the opportunity to read it.The pairing Brian/Aaron is one of my favourite with the Brian/Boyd from Swamp Fever..I really love the way she understands Brian..Not only his smug sexy side, but his sweetness and tenderness too.I hope she can finish it, but in this way I can think at Brian who fall in love and stays with Aaron..
