Brian and Justin split for good.... Brian finds love with someone else

Following on from the request by sandraj60 … I was wondering if there are any stories out there where Justin and Brian break up for good, and BRIAN finds love and happiness with someone else? (since after 5 years with Justin he is a better man and certainly capable of it in my opinion)

I’ve read stories where he’s living with / engaged to someone else… but basically just using this person to fill the hole left by Justin and he doesn’t love them (and as soon as Justin reappears he ditches them quick-smart).

LOL... I should have clarified that there was no chance in hell that I was looking for Brian/Mikey fic... yuck, yuck yuck!!!

That's fine...even if you were a B/'you know that whinester' shipper I have no probs with that, I just can't personally read it...I tried...I failed...I still see my shrink about it. LOLs

I'll be on the look out if I find some good stuff. Usually Brian goes back to Justin so am pretty sure I've not read others besides trying to read Arwensong's and stopping cause of heart palpitations (but it's pretty good writing just not my thing).

Oh wait...there was one with Justin/Other and Brian/Other after years after Justin leaving for NY and both of them stay with their significents others and are friends in the end. Does anyone know what it's called or the author? I can't remember but I think it was quite okay. I just couldn't fully get into it since it lacks history and emotional entachment between the other pairings and I just read and read waiting for B and J to get back togther but alas...EPIC FAIL of my optimism.

I'm not sure if you mean Arwensong's Begin Again stories. Brian and Justin meet agian for the first time 9 years after Justin leaves for NYC. They are each in a relationship with others (Brian/ Carnegie Mellon Bio Professor, Justin/ NYC Plastic Surgeon) and conclude at the end of the story that they make better friends than lovers.

That is the "Begin Again" universe. There is also the "Better Friends and Lovers' universe, where Brian is with Danny O'Keefe, a dancer, singer and pianist (and hunky Irishman).
