Looking for Angsty Pro-Justin fics

I’ve been extremely busy so I’ve been downloading stories to listen to on my Kindle. I’ve stopped and erased any story that has Justin portrayed as the guilty party or ‘the little shit’ for leaving Brian at the Rage party, because they usually go downhill from there (Hmm, rant much).

I’m looking for Angsty Pro-Justin fics. I’ve read all of Besame’s, Sapphires’, Nightvision55’s, and Sungaizing’s, recently. I even read all of Galeandrandy’s and Predec2.

I have eclectic taste so it can be any general story as long as it fits my criteria of Pro-Justin. It’s not that I am anti-Brian; it’s just that I have too many fics where Brian is treated as a God and Justin is the minor character that orbits around him. I want to see some MUTUAL RESPECT, but I am having a difficult time finding it in a lot of fics.

PLEASE HELP!

Isn't that something that happens in the very beginning of the fic because I don't recall Justin being overly selfish in the end. They all seemed on even footing if I recall correctly, but then again I read it before the semester started and since then had three different textbooks crammed into my skull so I may not remember everything perfectly. ;)

I even wonder if Michael knew in canon that Brian sort of pushed Justin off a cliff at the Rage party, or he felt that Justin betrayed Brian by leaving him (especially in a public setting). [He apparently 'forgot' that Brian did something similar at his birthday party with Tracy...] I could see him saying something like that to Justin to tell him that if he's going to show up and say he cares for Brian, he better be willing to do it for the long haul, being an over protective friend like he is. ;)

I also think the line about 'paybacks are hell' is taken out of context, again, if I recall correctly it was somewhat of her telling Brian that Justin took care of Brian during all of it and now it was his turn... I don't think Brian was completely up to speed by then and still had some problems, but he wanted to be able to help Justin out. (In other words, she didn't mean 'Justin deserved to be sick'...do you get what I'm trying to say? Text is so confusing and bland.)

But I think that's what happens when you skim it, you only pick up on things that strike out at you and if they are taken out of context then they can be read an entirely different way and the underlying meaning is lost. (Though, I'll also admit that there have been fic [within the last year] that I go ahead and skim the last chapter before I ever start it. Bad experiences and all made me cautious, so I can understand why you do it.)

Not once has anyone asked about his side of the story.

You know, I used to wonder about things like that when it came up in fic and one character was constantly outcast by the family, but then I think of things that happened on the show that the family failed to ask both parties what happened. They just seemed to instantly jump to one side and the battle lines were drawn. (Alright, so it's not like they ALWAYS did that, but in some pretty important instances it happened.)

Then again, considering that happens all the time in a variety of situations...I'm not sure why I'm so surprised!

I wish I could remember more about this particular story to help you out more than that, but I'm currently in the middle of a third of a series I'm trying to play catch up on, so my mind is pretty occupied with that and some things I've been working on...

It's interesting how we could have viewed it so differently. I'll have to reread it now because I'm curious how I could have had such a different opinion about it especially when I didn't consider it God-Brian.

I might attempt to start reading it next weekend after I get a chance to catch up back on homework.
