Looking for Brian's childhood story and other similar stories.

Hey everyone!

I searched the tags for abusedbrian and came up with nothing. I was wondering if you guys could help be out with looking for a particular story and then other stories in a similar style.

The story I'm thinking of was little vignettes from Brian's upbringing- one included a scene where his teacher notices bruises on him while he was on the playground, but she just covered them up with his shirt and didn't do anything. It wasn't a long fic at all-- just a stand alone fic with little stories from various moments of Brian's childhood.

Secondly, I would love to read similar fics to this. I've read some where Brian is dealing with his abuse in the present time, but not too many where they are set when he is a child/teenager actually dealing with the situations as they come up....

It's so strange because I remember a comment from the original piece almost better than I remember the piece itself...I felt the same way. The comment was like, "I can see it(meaning Brian's childhood) happening this way.

The story wasn't told from Brian or Justin's perspective, but was definitely 3rd person. I wish I could remember another scene from it, but I think it ends with Brian meeting Michael for the first time? (not sure...)

I remember reading the one you are asking about but I can't remember the title or author. But since you are interested in similar fics Simon wrote quite a few of those mostly with Brian as a teen. I looked through her fics on Moonshadowtribe for links to some. I think you can also find them on Across the Pond as well.
