Fanon to Canon 'ugly naked guy'?

Writing something for Credence, this thought occurred to me. As I'm sure most anyone knows, there are quite a few things that were said or stated in QAF fandom / showtime message boards by fans that inadvertently made it onto the show in one way or another.

Just two of my favorites that I recall are 'Zen Ben' and 'Brian knocked up Sunshine'.

So if anyone can recall, 'the ugly naked guy painting', was this an actual fandom thing before Justin says it when the painting is being taken away, or was this on the show before?

EDIT: FOUND ANSWER. Okay I was confusing myself by thinking too much about it. Justin does not say exactly 'ugly', and you'd think me watching it 3 times before asking would've alleviated this question. But then I began wondering if he said it as 'ugly' elsewhere or if it was purely fanon. It is only purely fanon. Justin does NOT say 'ugly'.

Ah I see...I'm not really great on US geography so I wouldn't know how far you'd have to drive out of a particular city to get to all the green and leafy bits :) I think I'll stick with my theory though, as I like Justin being sarcastic :D

I agree, I thought it was Justin being sarcastic as well.

I think there's a 50/50 chance either way it's great. I once read a one-shot where the author constantly had Brian saying something like...

"Wild, Wonderful, West Virginia... hmpf! As if I'd ever buy a house in the land of hunters and breeders." Because he couldn't get over the fact that Justin didn't realize they crossed back into Pennsylvania after driving a while because he was trying to confuse him.

I'd never read that explanation and liked that one a lot.

Well I like Justin being sarcastic too, so I go back and forth when thinking about it or writing about it because I can't leave known logistics alone sometimes but other times I can. Plus, more often than not I prefer to think of Brian and Justin having a home together far from people who disturb them mid-spanking or... mid... well, anything with just the two of them really. LOL!

West Virginia's panhandle comes fairly close to Pittsburgh. Look at a map.

Yes, which is why I even 'use' real addresses for where characters live and figure out appropriate driving time to and from places in and around Pittsburgh or whatever. It's super easy to do with google maps and anyone in any country I believe does have access to us map systems of this sort.

CowLip was fairly clueless in locating the "mansion" in West Virginia when
in reality the places wealthy people would live would be Fox Chapel,
Sewickley Heights, Upper St. Clair, the I79 Corridor -- all in Pa. But then
CowLip don't seem to know that the river running through the Pitts is
the Allegheny and not the "shit from the Susquehanna."

LOL, so true. I mean, all they had to do was look on the map or read ONE guide book about Pittsburgh and they would've figured out that stuff. Upper St. Clair was out in my book due to the zoning for horses/stables but that is what I think would possibly be the only place Brian could've logically driven that was at least perhaps the same direction toward WV that would've made Justin make that comment in jest if he did, as most other 'upper class' boroughs are the opposite direction of WV.
But they weren't very good with directions, so it could still be those places.
As frustrating as some of the things were in qaf, at the same time, because of this it leaves writers with a little more room for their imagination and interpretation when making up for the inconsistencies.

I've always found it odd that they chose Pittsburgh and seemed to know so little about it. Have you been to either Pittsburgh and Toronto. I know Pittsburgh but I've wondered if Toronto reflects it closer than perhaps other cities they might have chosen for the location.

Also, too and just a reminder and stuff that we actually have three rivers in Pgh, the Monongahela joins the Allegheny to form the Ohio right at The Point in downtown.

Oh and, "that shit from the Susquehanna" makes my hair hurt every time I hear it, damn Cowlip for some damn sloppy work there.
