Looking for rec's

Don't know if this is acceptable to post here. I'm not looking for a specific story, just some rec's of your favorite stories. I like B/J, AU's, any theme actually, even B/Other or J/other, as long as they end up together. :-) The only thing I'm not too found of is Mpreg stories, (but I have read one or two goods ones)

I need something to make me forget the bullshit I have to deal with at work just for a few minutes at of the day. Not too long, (not much time) something I can read in a couple of days.

Open to all recommendations!

Thanks
Gina Marie

Could you unlock your post? :)

Sorry about the work bullshit :(

And the more specific the request, the better, but people ask for recs fairly often around here. It's all good.

The Angel Stream by Gaedhal is a nice place to go after a bad day. For Gaedhal, it's really low angst. It's AU, and Christmas-y.

I don't even know where to start, there is so much amazing stuff in this fandom. Are you looking for recent things? Older stuff? I have a bunch of suggestions in my journal under the tag Rec:(blah) -- AUs, outsider POV, etc. Going through qaf_recs and qaf_rethread is also great fun (although quite of few of the suggested stories have gone poof.)

Have you read everything by Jane2005? Eleveninches?

Reiterating moonbright's comment - you looking for new or old stuff, or does it matter? Almost everything I've read is long, so...let me know!

Check out my memories. Heaps of LJ links to stuff I liked. Long, short, AU, drabbles, pretty much everything. Somehow a girl has to get her B/J stuff organized! Now it comes in handy.

Hope the bullshit is solved quickly!

Hey Gina! I always start to look through the challenge communities when I'm not sure what I'm looking for, but I know I need a b/j fix. There are so many hidden treasures to be found there. I think they're all linked on the sidebars.

Except for the qaf gift exchange which I don't see over there.

Hope things get better at work.

Aww honey, I'm sorry about work still being a bitch! *hugs you*

Well, we are always reading the same stories at the same time, so I know what you've seen recently. But have you read "Through A Mirror Darkly"? It was something I read last year and LOVED. Dark, exciting, angsty, beautiful stuff. Brian goes into their alternate reality and the other Brian comes into this one. It's extremely well done. I really found myself moved by all the characters. It's something you can lose yourself in this week.

You can download the pdf over to the right ------>

I thoroughly enjoyed it.
